This could get interesting haha, I am planning a trip to the Shrewsbury area in February and will be likely taking Avanti West Coast from London to Crewe then TFW to Shrewsbury. Apparently Avanti may have their Class 805 Azumas in service by then, and the Azumas have also developed a reputation for poor ride quality when compared to the Pendolinos. Will also be my first experience on UK rail as I'm traveling there from the US.
You must have got a bad train because i take one every few days to university and none of them have bad ride quality. And all the passenger displays and announcements work fine!

Best to move to the side before doors open, to allow the passengers off easily.
Very rare for a 197 to go to Cardiff South Wales normally uses 175s
