Today, i discovered something beautiful... somethin Special.. K-Pop! I've heard it be hyped up but i thought it was a trend but im actually thoroughly impressed! I reacted to BTS for the FIRST TIME and i might just binge watch more later today tbh. Tell me what songs i should react to next? This is my first time reacting to Kpop and i think its awesome!

Blackpink fans are called Blinks and once you become one there's no going back... They set the bar for every other kpop artiste, they're the #1 girl group in the world for a reason! I'm a hardcore metalhead and they got me in a chokehold from the very first video I watched... 😅 Looking forward to more Blackpink reactions! Can I suggest a double feature? "Shutdown" music video, and afterwards check out the same song live at Coachella 2023... Their live performances are out of this world! Btw, Blackpink made history at Coachella not once, but twice... In 2019 they became the first ever kpop girl group to perform at Coachella. The directors of the festival loved them so much that they invited them back in 2023 to headline the show. They are the first ever kpop artist to actually headline at Coachella. They have been pushing boundaries and breaking records since day one... I can go on about their many other accomplishments, records and achievements but this comment is already too long, lol... 😂
Actually, all of them didn't re-sign the contract with YG with their solo careers, but they re-signed the contract as blackpink, so the group still continues, but when they do solo songs it won't be with YG, which is blackpink's company, I don't know if I knew how to explain it lol
Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo founded their own company to take care of their solo career, but they are still part of blackpink, which will be taken care of by YG, Rosé hasn't talked about her own company yet, but we all tthink that she will talk soon about ❤❤

5:56 No, they renewed their contract for group activities, so they will still be like blackpink, but they have not renewed their contract for solo activities and three of them have created their own companies for this, and one is not yet known but she will also carry out her solo career on her own

@@naniluv1_liveI wish the West would take one thing from kpop with how they have a solo career alongside the group career. The one thing most people look for is stability of some kind that is very hard to get in the entertainment industry so I look at blackpink is there backbone they built there life around that so maintaining that brings tons of value for the artist. As we know artists are creative people we seen so many groups in the West break up over not being able to create there own identity which is why I love the way kpop does it being able to do solo albums alongside there groups projects allows for that creative freedom artists yurn for. As for the fans they also get the best of both worlds as the product between group and solo are vastly different..

blackpink genre is more on hiphop/rap, edm and heavy instrumentals, different than most kpop groups

This guy loves to pause the song right in the middle of the rap verses and misses Jennies killer punchline "Bodies on bodies like it;s a slow dance." because he couldn't keep his mouth shut. Total unwatchable mess. And again about the pausing. He did it like every 5 seconds to make some lame inane comment. REALLY??? Dude,,,,THE WORST.
