Similarities? All dances and music in the video are too oriental for Greek standards. You would never find such music in mainland Greece, only some anatolian Greeks had such Music

Trakya, Aegean, Mediterranian, Middle Anatolia, Black Sea, East and South East Anatolia.. Every one of them is a whole different story. This is A LOT of work. Bravo👏

My great grand parents from my father’s side ( his mother’s and his father’s side ) were from Karditsa ,in Turkish it is Kardicha For hundreds of years Turks and Greeks coexisted. Sadly, meddling Emperialists ( British etc.) put an end to it. I have no hatred toward Greek people as individuals. I hope Turkey and Greece as neighbors resolve their problems without outsiders meddling. You are a very good dancer, and a musician. Keep up the good work. 🧿👍

There is no "balkans/middle asia/orient" world. Balkans are not homogenous, to start with, but either way, there are balkan countries similar to central Europe (slovenia and Romania), eastern europe (bulgaria Serbia and northern macedonia) or to Italy and Spain (Greece Montenegro and Croatia). Middle east and central Asia are out of question, and Turkey definitely is not a balkan country, exactly for being close to middle east and central Asia

The only thing that is different from the Rüm (Greek -Roman decent people ) from the Turks ıs the religion . In 500 years we merged into a wonderful blend of music and culture until the big world powers sought to rip us apart ,We as a people love each other and share much .My family spoke mostly Turkish .
This is something i often think too, no matter how different our practices may be, in our souls, in how we feel and react we are so much more alike than we can think of.
It wasn’t only the big world powers it was something called Freedom …take it away from 1/2 the population and you have a dead empire…something that is happening slowly globally at this time

The only thing that is different from the Rüm (Greek -Roman decent people ) from the Turks ıs the religion . In 500 years we merged into a wonderful blend of music and culture until the big world powers sought to rip us apart ,We as a people love each other and share much .My family spoke mostly Turkish .
This is something i often think too, no matter how different our practices may be, in our souls, in how we feel and react we are so much more alike than we can think of.
Turks are genetically assimilated Greeks
It wasn’t only the big world powers it was something called Freedom …take it away from 1/2 the population and you have a dead empire…something that is happening slowly globally at this time
