    Excellent video. THe combo of hand movements with the bowls ringing is great. I always enjoy hand movement videos but many of them are just random movements which is not quite as trigger inducing. I love how focused and purposeful the hand movements are in this video. My first memory of feeling an ASMR trigger is actually from watching precise rhythmic hand movements. I didn't even know what ASMR was until about 2 years ago, but I vividly remember being in kindergarten and when it was nap time I usually was not tired. But the teacher made us lay down anyway and she would turn the lights off, light a candle and usually take care of random things while we napped. I remember that she would frequently use that time to thoroughly clean the dry-erase board, but she would do it very slowly and had a distinct pattern to the process. I think she was just trying to be quite to not disturb our naps but I would just lay there and watch her wipe the board and it gave me tingles most of the time. It's odd that I remember that so well, but can't even remember what her name was or what she looked like.

    pretty pretty pretty!!!!! I want a singing bowl for my house so bad, but dang they are expensive! I would love to hear the bowls placed around the mic if possible, to get that real "surround sound" experience. That would ROCK.

    I thought this was a good video but I had it in a playlist and when it came up it was super loud and I had to quickly turn my volume down! I really do like the bowls, though, and I have a request! :) Do you think you could do a layered video like that recent one you did with the multiple triggers, but instead do some low-volume Tibetan singing bowls, with either crackling fire sounds or tapping in the background, layered with an ear-to-ear whisper of positive affirmations that promote a sense of happiness and well-being, etc? That would be super amazing and I know you of all people could accomplish this to my expectations, you're my absolute favorite ASMR artist! :D

    Do you have a vid of you "Singing" the bowls instead of striking them? The bowls produce the lower-frequency sound that way with way fewer harmonics.

    So how do Tibetan bowls work? My guess is that the two frequencies create a binaural beat so it's sounds like they're oscillating.

    use the you tube keyboard shortcuts because your pc has a lot more math to do when you click with the mouse to like, for instance: you want full screen, the keyboard is higher in the hierarchy and by far more powerful than the mouse., so you'd prefer the speed of typing the letter "f" than clicking on the you tube player controls on the screen....we all hate that lag before the screen size goes full. have a great one
    ps; kb shortcuts menu is located in settings in youtube i hope that answers the question, im here if you've got any more

    i love the sound of this bowls, like in some of your previous vids, but i think you need to be more patient on hitting them. I prefer when you hit just once lightly and specially when you move the "stick" around the bowl.
    I prefer it more calm, like from 21:08 to 22:00

    • @FoxyDrew
      @FoxyDrew 10 років тому

      *****??? People get a certain amount of money per views. If you know what that amount is (I do because I'm a UA-camr) then you can (roughly) know how much he makes from his view counts. It's not really his choice whether we see the view count, so yes it is.

    • @FoxyDrew
      @FoxyDrew 10 років тому +4

      This isn't his job :P He works a separate full time job. And uploading videos for thousands of people to see, he has become a public figure. Public figures lose some privacy, and before you say that's not fair, remember he chose to make these videos, and continues to put them out for the public eye.
