      I only know of Sebo because or Roger. His channel has been excellent for me to decide on an appliance what works for my home. I now own a Felix and K3 because of comprehensive video highlighting the features and benefits of this German made understated brand. I am grateful to Roger for sharing this brand and his recommendations.

    Oh yea… that is a nice cleaner. Looks like an amazing option for grooming carpets… I never used to like Sebo machines but having used a wide track upright Sebo I found myself very impressed. Great build quality!

    Love this cleaner, I hope to get one some day. I can't wait to see the demonstration for this one! Also I have a request Roger, if possible could we see a video where you use this cleaner to clean your/your mother's/whoever's entire house and show the dirt it picks up like you did with the Lupe and the Dyson V11? I would LOVE to see that, it would be a great demonstration of its capabilities

    There is no difference compared to the last K3 we got. I also don’t like the fact the USA are now getting a new style all metal electric telescopic tube and a hose handle with a built in brush on/off switch; and we seem to be stuck with the 20 year old technology and i don’t know why?! SEBO is my passion but I do get frustrated with the lack of technical progress sometimes. Having the same offerings for decades at a time is just a bit😖

    Roger, I've actually seen an Oreck Venture Pro bagged canister vacuum in the USA, I think from 2016, and even though I haven't used one before, I love the fact that its electrified telescoping wand allows the user to clean the carpet under low furniture, where even a Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal & Allergy WILL NOT do at all! This Oreck makes the job very easy with the swiveling power nozzle, in relationship to Shark's Powered Lift-Away technology on their modern vacuums!

    You get GREAT deals on German goods in the UK! The best deal on a K3 I can currently get in California is $799/£650. That’s a big difference…! Average K3 list price here is $899/£725. Plus-we don’t even get the Kombi nozzle-we get the cheapest “generic” parquet floor brush. Spending this much-this vacuum better blow me away-particularily the ET-1 powerhead’s performance on bars tile floors…!

    Great video! I Just a reminder on the suction test: Sebos have that "soft-start" system that provides a gradual ramp-up of the motor. You mightn't have gotten the full suction reading unless you waited to test until after the ramp-up.

      I don’t know of any Sebo cleaners with a soft start. All the single speed Sebo cleaners I own start on full power immediately, though they have a slight pause after pressing the switch before the motor starts. This cleaner and others like the Felix have an on/off power slide control combined, so it’s up to the user to start the cleaner on low or slide the control to maximum.

    I have been having a problem with those brush rollers on the Felix and x1, which are the same as the one above and they seem to collect a lot of my long hair and it stops working. I always have to cut the hair away and I am wondering if I need to change the roller as I have never had a problem like this before.

    The Henry would probably clean carpet as well as that Sebo if you did some searches for an electrified hose and a Wessel Werk EBK360 with a central vac style connection. It would also do it more affordably even as the HEPA Flow bags are massive compared to most of the Eurovac lines. That said, the Sebo is a company that is known to make commercial grade machines but the catch is the Henry is technically one too. It's a nice looking machine overall, but the air belt idea isn't a Sebo-exclusive technology as the Rainbow models D4 and back to the D/D2 are capable of exhausting peripherally as well.

    No, the U.S. model does not have a 1200 motor. The U.S. model has a 700 watt. I bought the K3. No regrets. I seriously considered Miele, but Sebo beat the Miele in several areas for me, not least of which are the low profile for getting under furniture and the exceptionally good warranty. Miele's warrant is awful by comparison, and since Covid, getting parts for a Miele is pretty hit or miss.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  8 місяців тому +2

      According to Sebo’s US website, the specifications show the K3 as having a 1250 Watt motor.

    • @user-lz6dm5lk9y
      @user-lz6dm5lk9y 8 місяців тому +1

      Well, I was at an authorised dealer's yesterday to look at them (ordered one today), and the salesman told me 700. I was surprised because the Miele is 1200.@@ibaisaic
      ETA: Okay, I looked at the on-line manual (I presume this is for the U.S.), and it says
      "The canister suction
      motor is 1,250 watts, and the power head
      motor is 175 watts (ET-1), for a total of
      1,425 watts."
      If that information is accurate, then that is higher than Miele which is only 1200 or 1250 (I forget which).

      We get a 1250 watt motor here in the US

  • @darkhallucination

    Those are sold under the "Onyx Collection" which includes the Felix, X7/8, D4, and E3 here in the US. They are independent dealer exclusive and are INSANELY expensive! You can't find prices for the Onyx collection online in the US. It's really kinda shady.
    A shame, Sebo is a great machine but the cost really prohibits ppl from owning them.

      Probably worth getting a UK or German friend to send it to you as a ‘secondhand gift’.

    I wonder if, in the case of canisters that are supplied with an electric hose and nozzle (being sold in Europe), when talking about the EU regulations on the maximum power (in watts) that the appliance could consume, the designers would have to consider the sum of the powers between the two motors (the one in the canister and the one in the powerhead) when selling these kinds of cleaners in the EU countries.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Рік тому +1

      They have to consider the energy use of both motors in the case of cleaners that have twin motors. So this K3 has an 800 Watt suction motor and a 90 Watt powerhead motor bringing it just under the maximum 900 watts allowed. The ET-1 powerhead used to have a 175 watt motor before the EU imposed restrictions.

    • @raymondplouffe9521
      @raymondplouffe9521 Рік тому

      @@ibaisaic Then, if a manufacturer were to design a model of a straight-suction canister with a power-nozzle port and the motor of the canister were, say, 810 watts, then, when selling the products in the EU countries, if the company also sell power-nozzle cords and powerheads of above, say, 120 watts, then would it have to be done in the way that such nozzles would be incompatible with the canisters of the aforementioned model?

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Рік тому

      @@raymondplouffe9521 It’s not an issue in the UK as I don’t know of any straight suction cleaners currently being manufactured with a power take off socket that you can buy an optional powerhead for.

    All great but it's not a sealed system. There isn't any gasket around the filters and when you remove the exhaust filter cover, you can feel the air escaping which clearly shows it's not a sealed system as it should only be exhausted through the airbelt.
    They also age badly. Suction control gets very loose. The connection between joints gets loose too so there's air escaping there.
