Teary eyes while watching this. This is my first RPG game in my life. Then I tried telling my friends about it and they don't know that Ghost Fighter has an RPG in gameboy. :(
Brings back memories of the only gameboy game that i got hooked to years ago. Remember the main map music well and the 1st boss was Alfred/Kuwabara Kazuma, and the characters only had 7 levels, of which, level 7 was the max and unlocks Yusuke's Shotgun attack as a special move. I didn't even know the exact title of this game back then.

Man this brings me back in highschool when my friend swapped me this game for a week with my game. You don't wanna do combos here just press up after attacks so it won't do the final attack and man you'll beat anyone on this game with one single punch animation. I got hooked on this game I basically unlocked all of them at LvL10 right after you get Hiei (Literally you'll breeze to the game with one punch hehehe, I only got the very first password in the game or maybe the one right after you got Hiei (I don't remember anymore as it was 3 weeks of figuring password combinations) then mixed yusuke, kurama, hiei or kuwabara then the last few characters at the end of the main password about 5 characters from the end then one by one testing every letters then change the 2nd to the last then last letter scroll all over again until the screen goes blank and accepted the password and walla all characters Lvl 10. My friend freaked out when I showed him my gameboy and everyone at lvl 10, I even wrote it on paper for him to try because he really didn't get that far on this game. Good times 😁😁😁

This action RPG is the best Yu Yu Hakusho game on the Game Boy.
Here for the final battle music with Sensui. I love that piece of music!
if nintendo switch is watching, Gameboy legend of zelda is remake, we want this to be remake too XD
When I replayed this game after I grew up I realized this game was super detailed....each of the four chracters are slightly different, especially when they used SP to attack...there are different time lags
still cannot believe I figured out this game where Japanese was not my language….I was so lucky….but other game like Zelda was too difficult to figure out, but still good memory

Vincent's specials move do great damage when pressing the a and b button together and continuesly. But its sucks at lvl 10.
What annoys me is that when an opponent makes a certain move your special attack somehow doesn't work on them
I used to max everything first before going to boss, then realized that some character are better left at lvl 8-9
I don't show my leveling moments cause it takes to long. For sure, you're right !

Sadly nobody ever translated it 😢
It was tranlated into French, so at least I could play it
