I brought it but it was raining at Mistico park.🌧🌧 I'm jealous of your footage, it's sick. Also there were a lot more people there when I was there. Looks like you had the park 2 yourselves 😂
Great flying skills! Precious footage as the drone is safe after so much stunt tricks. I thought about bringing my drone to Costa Rica but this has already been done, and it has been done so perfectly in this video.
Hi! New subscriber here :) i'm traveling to costa rica next month and finding your content super helpful. Everything seems quieter and less busy so I wonder how it'll be now that folks are all back to traveling "post covid". Either way, thanks for the content and tips! :)
@The Road Let's Travel - yeah it was certainly quieter when we were there. Can't comment on La Fortuna now because I haven't been back, but I'd expect that there will be more people. All the more reason to get up early and be the first people at places!
Going to Cr in a few days I´m sure, your vlogs will be helpful to us. Thanks. When you say, you were early- what tome is early? Would be a huge disappointment to me, if I could not fly my drone there-I am very careful not to attract attention.
@Tatianna B - that drone was the original Mavic Mini (although it's dead now because of my lack of skill as a pilot!). I'm currently using the mini 2 which is even better
Hi, I'm flying to Costa Rica this Friday. Besides registering the drone with DGAC, any other authority I need to register with? Loved your videos. Now we know where to go in La Fortuna
@Syed Zaidi - I believe that's the only registration that you need to do, though also look out for signs of no drone areas (like La Fortuna Waterfall). Hope you have a good time!
Are you able to have a good experience doing a self guided tour (just paying the entrance fee), or do you recommend paying extra for a combined tour. Deciding on tour packages and different combinations of activities affect the price. For instance there's a volcano hiking tour combined with la fortuna waterfall which I know you have to pass the hanging bridges to get to, so I am wondering if I can do this separately.
@Chandler Hayes - not sure what you mean by having to pass the hanging bridges to get to La Fortuna Waterfall? Id say you don't need a guide for the hanging bridges......if anything we just really enjoyed the peace and quiet being the first ones in the park.
@harajukuLoverrrrr it depends on how much you are going to be exploring the area. Uber was pretty cheap, for example we paid about $8 USD to get to Tabacon and a little more to get to Mistico Hanging Bridges. Don't take my word for it but I think a car is going to cost you at least $50 USD a day (with insurance which is where the price increases) so you probably won't spend more than that if you just take Ubers.
Did the tour a couple of years ago with a small group with a Guide. We experienced more wild life there than any other place. It is even more spectacular in person.
@Michelle Reyes - it's one big loop (with a couple of shortcuts), so you end up exactly where you set off (as you say, next to where you parked your car).
Really nice drone footage...brave to send it out over that valley! Agree withe tunnel names...not great, a 6 inch feu de lance snake will put a grown man into intensive care within 6 hours! They grow bigger and protect their position rather than disappear into the undergrowth - factoids, trivia, whatever.....any waves in Costa Rica??
Yep nearly lost the drone a couple of times. Good thing we were there early and first/only ones in Mistico Park, otherwise I wouldn't have flown it because it's too noisy and the hanging bridges are so peaceful! No waves in La Fortuna/Arenal because it's inland and in the mountains but the Pacific coast is seeing some swell at the moment.
@RSMoore7272 - well now I might look like an insensitive tourist because I didn't ask (I did at Tabacón). What I would say is that we were the first ones in the park, I wouldn't have put a drone up if there were other people around. It's too peaceful to ruin other people's experience with a whining drone....
@Christoper Dena - that camera was a GoPro Hero 8, and the drone was a Mavic Mini. I've actually upgraded now to a GoPro 9 and a Mini 2 (as well as a Sony RX10 for zoom shots)
@ivan madrigal - yep it definitely sounds like I missed out on Monteverde! Hadn't heard about Cahuita but it looks like a long way - still haven't done the Caribbean coast
bro if you want to increase the chances to see a sloth you can pay for a guide hehe the experience is better when you have a local that knows the area, nice video love from Costa Rica 🇨🇷
@TEN-ticoCR haha absolutely. We went to the sloth park but the guide was too expensive for my cheapness! If I could have my time back I'd definitely get a guide (and do the zip lining). Sloths or no sloths, I loved Mistico Hanging Bridges and Costa Rica in general.
@Maria de la Guardia - I was there a couple of months ago, I imagine the weather is going to be similar for you? I hope you have a great time there, let me know if you do the Rio Celeste hike. It's something that I regret not doing!
The prettiest scenery I think I have ever seen. I am going to look into coming here.
@24 Hr Fake Gnus - you should, La Fortuna is a really nice place
Heading to Costa in 12 days! Thanks for the vlog 👍🏼👍🏼
@ilovejewelyn - have fun! What's your itinerary?
I cant wait to get there next month
Nice me and the FPV drone will be there next week!!!!!
@bpmakesithappen8395 did you get some good shots?

@Jasmine Way - thanks, it was pretty safe there, although I have gone through 3 drones now!
Arenal is an amazing, lugar muy cautivador! :)
@Spanish With Israel - absolutely, I really liked Arenal. Just learnt a new Spanish word (cautivador) so thanks!

@kurkl we got there for open which I believe is around 7.30am but you may want to check that. Its not super early
Awesome footage. What kind of drone do you have?
@Tatianna B - that drone was the original Mavic Mini (although it's dead now because of my lack of skill as a pilot!). I'm currently using the mini 2 which is even better

Wao this tour you did sound exiting! :)
Question!
when you finish, do you end up back where u started to by your parked car or would you have to turn around and walk back??

Didn’t know you’re allowed to take drones inside the park. Going there in December.
