Thirty-one years of being in existence isn't a long time for a sports franchise.
But as the team enters its 32th season, fans of the Orlando Magic should be proud of the product that's been on display for a good portion of those years.
No, there's not a championship banner hanging from the rafters of the Amway Center, but two runs to the Eastern Conference Finals and two trips to the NBA Finals is nothing to brush off.
Many franchises would kill for those results, especially in a relatively short period of time.
And through the deep playoff runs and years of mediocrity, the Magic have seen some tremendous talent step foot on the court while wearing the blue and white.
From big men like Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard to lethal scoring threats like Tracy McGrady, the franchise has seen impressive play from a variety of positions.
Rankings were determined by analyzing statistics and recognizing how important the player was to the franchise during his stay, with emphasis on the latter.
In order for a player to qualify, he must have been on the roster for at least one full season (i.e. a player arriving via trade halfway through the year and departing at season's end would not qualify).

How many games did Grant play? He didn't play over half a year until 05.
He had 2 good years with them, rest of his time he hardly played, and was not the sane player that first signed there.. he was Grant Hill in name only
I'll never understand how Grant Hill can be an all time magic player by some

I still can NOT belive that Orlando did not retired Penny's #1, gave it to T-Mac in future, and left Shaq widouth a contract that he deserved, I was a kid back then playing a basketball, saw a hero in a Penny, my fckin idol, was copy/ paste every single of his moves... he was my hero and GM's demolished it, come on... Penny Hardaway#1(PG), Nick Anderson#25(SG), Dennis Scott#3(SF), Horace Grant#54(PF), Shaq O'Neal#32(C), PLUS SUBS like Derek Strong#33 AND OTHERS, BUT THAT WAS THE BEST TEAM ORLANDO EVER HAD...please correct me if i'm wrong ?!?!?! when T-Mac got the #1 on his back in Orlando then I saw that there is no Magic in the team, injured Penny gave everything (49pts vs Miami, solo eliminated them from the playoffs)... so yeah I kinda stop to support the GM's WHO DO THE SHT THEY DO... Orlando had all the way's to dominate back then, but Howard's generation is not even to be compared with that golden generation...
