I use new impress nails and love them. The ones I’m wearing currently have lasted 2 weeks 2 days and are showing no signs of pulling up at all. I have done Christmas baking, cleaning, laundry and showering daily! Get using these!

Great video. Along with the places you mentioned, ImPress has a site and they often offer specials and sales. I have worn ImPress for over a year. No damage to my nails and they can be easily removed with the flat edge of the orange stick. Before I even use the prep pad, I will use 100% acetone to clean my nails which really does help with the adhesive glue. I usually am ready to remove them after a week to 10 days but have had them last two weeks.After the prep pad, I will lightly buff them to remove the shine with a low grit buffing block. Then, as I apply each nail, press each one on for a full minute and do them right before bed so I don't get my hands wet for eight hours.When I first tried them, I added a thin layer of glue to my nails first, but that seemed to counter act the prepared adhesive on the nails and they didn't last as long. Plus, did add a little damage to the nails. My favorite is the French manicure, but the holiday designs are so cute too!

I use all those tips myself and have never used glue. They always last 10 days - 2 weeks.
I work in the healthcare field and these are my go to nails . Everyone thinks my nails are just well manicured with polish that’s how natural these look. It looks like Gel polish. Honestly this is the best press on brand out there . For extra security I use the kiss nail glue and they last 2-3 weeks. Before I apply the nail I roughen my natural nail bed with a nail file and I use acetone to remove any access oil so that it sticks better . They don’t budge or lift when you follow the steps I use !

@@LynSire yes ! I don’t depend on the sticky adhesive that comes on it . Since I use my hands a lot I make sure I use glue with them
I have done all the same prep steps you mentioned..and they still fall off my nails. I think they changed the sticky part formula..because in the past they used to stay ony nails for weeks..but no longer.
I love using Impress nails. Saves me money from going to the salon and some people at the salon are either rude or they hurt my nails when they are cleaning. I had one lady that was very judgemental and said I should grow my nails long all because I take care of them and cut them short. These fake nails are so much better if you dont want to go to a salon.

I always push my cuticles back before applying. Then, when I apply, I make sure a little bit of the edge of the fake nail goes underneath my cuticle to make it lay flatter and look more natural. If none of the nail goes under the cuticle, it will start to lift and catch easier.

I'm sure at the height of Covid, a lot of people started using press on nails. Especially, Impress because of the adhesive strip. I put the ones for toes on Monday morning and hands an hour ago. I'm hooked, no more nail salons for me.

All my life, my nails have been thin and brittle. Nail salons make them worse. I started to use impress press on nails 2 weeks ago (no base coat) and I’m just removed them and applied another set! NO DAMAGE TO MY NAIL BEDS. I wash my hair every other day, daily shower, wash my hands at least 20x daily and they have lasted looking great! I do use gloves for dishes and cleaning. Buffing your nail bed lightly prior to using the alcohol pad, and applying before bed are 2 tips i do recommend. I will never go to a nail salon again!

I'm allergic to nail glue my eyes swell up and I get a dermatitis on my face seriously after using nail glue so the Press on have saved me. 😍 Hands looks so much younger when you wear nails 💅 😍

I had press on nails twice in the past they only lasted 2 days I don’t know what brand the were I got them on clearance at Walmart. Last year my best friend took me to a nail salon for the first time in my life and paid for me to get my nails done. They cost $65 and lasted almost 4 weeks. I wanted Kiss impression nails but I couldn’t find any styles I liked. I finally bought some at Target they were having a 10% off sale on kiss nail brand. So I got short nails that are navy blue color with a silver navy blue glitter nail for the ring finger. I also got some kiss brand of nail glue too just in case the nails won’t stick.
How well do the nails holds after washing your hair?

I watched this video after pressing on a few nails already. I did a base coat (like she suggests) for the remaining nails I had left- 7 total. Two hours later and 3 of those nails have fallen off. The ones where I did no base coat are perfectly sturdy.
This video was helpful for other aspects but DO NOT USE A BASE COAT! She said to use it so it is easier to take them off later but I don't want them to FALL off that same day lol

Tried for the first time they seem to hold tight but had to buy a second pack due to the fact they didn't have even sizes for ring and pointer finger and also thumb nail were way too small!! hopefully no one looks too close at that!!

You can put them on in less than 5 minutes. They are so convenient :))
I work in the medical field. These things are amazing! I’m lifting heavy patients and they stay on for about a week before replacing some. I have no time to get them done so this is perfect.
I wish the accent nail came in more sizes. I have very narrow nail beds and these tend to lean super wide.
U can try filing them a little to make them fit
@@J_Cai98 I do that but it adds 10-12 minutes on top of the process. Wish I could just pop them on without filing sometimes.
Try the almond or oval shapes. They are thinner!
Kinda the same here. Some of my nails are more arched. The fake ones are flat.

I have long hair and my hair keeps getting stuck/snagged between my impresd nail and my natural nail at the cuticles. What can I do to get a better seal at the cuticles line to prevent this?
Yes, that is common to happen!! Others have suggested to apply some nail glue and it was worked for me!

Can these be trimmed back if needed? I love the look of the nails, but need to keep my nails short as I play string instruments.
The box indicates if they are short, medium, or long length. Look for short and you can even file them if needed :))

Thanks for watching! Sorry if it was confusing but I have used non-acetone for years to avoid harsh chemicals and has natural oil for healthy nails.
I brought impress nails frm my local store
I got them home and they medium length which is good for me as I have wide nails
So am worried that it will damaged my real nails under neath what’s ur advice ?
You can apply a layer of base coat to protect your nails. And when you are ready to remove all of them always use nail polish remover.
Impress brand nails USED TO stay on my nails about a week. That was great. That was awesome!!!
However I think they changed the sticky/ or glue formula, because the past couple of of times I have purchased them..at several different store locations..and they ALL just start falling off the same day I apply them.
They used to work great..but no longer..now they consistently fail.on the first day I apply them.
I always follow the instructions perfectly..I do all the prep properly.
Therefore I really do believe they have changed the formula on the sticky part. Which is a huge bummer..because I used to love this product..but no longer.

It seems like all production facilities for almost all companies are trying to cut corners to save money.
I have noticed lots of " shrinkflation."... For example I now see that packages of chips are the same size..but once opened. one notices that they have less actual product inside of them and more air..
At Fred Myers's yesterday..( Kroger) ..I saw prepackaged Thanksgiving pies for $ 4.99.. Same price as last year..the only difference?? These were HALF pies..in half pie clam shell containers.
They are selling HALF a loaf of sourdough bread for $5.00!! While just 2 years ago that some price would have been for an entire whole loaf of bread.
I know ALL companies are being affected by world wide price gouging on all raw materials. The end result..or the effect of this affect is that IF the price of a product has stayed relatively the same during this world'wide drpression/ recession..then you can assume correctly that company most certainly has to have cut corners on ingredients or formulas.
The Impress Brand nails look the same as before
...but.they absolutely do NOT stay on now.
At least this is my experience.

I’m a bit confused how exactly we remove these? Not a big user of press on nails but I’m curious if it’s easy to remove like it is to put on.
You can leave your nails soaking in nail polish remover for about 5 minutes. They come off easily!

How long do thy last? The end product is classy. It is good since now we are under lock down and cannot go to the nail salon and this saves us money
They can last from one to three weeks. They are really worth it :))
Quick question can you go into a chlorine pool with these are do they fall off?
If you are in for a awhile and the nails are fresh. The glue will deteriorate.

I tried these nails and four of them fell off within a few hours. I don't understand what happened, I pressed each nail down and used the cleaning wipe.
I personally spend extra time pushing them down take about an hour total but I’ll do it while watching tv. I also make sure I don’t need to shower or get my hands wet for a few hours after. I’ve also found if I pick the wrong size they may catch on something and pop off while it’s setting.
I had the same issue but I think I put mine on too close to the cuticle and the glue stickers got glue under them,

Does anyone else have short mail beds? The glue on the back is exposed on the back and I notice they pick up dirt don’t look nice. I took mine off after 24 hours.

My gel nails bend and flimsy at the end. They look nice but that’s the downfall for me.
Maybe they are to long? Try filing them with a crystal file or fine grit file.

No one mention how much dirt the glue under the nail tip attracts 😫 & cus it’s so sticky you can’t clean it out properly
Seal the sides and top with glue it helps
