Hi! One thing we used while camping is a camping solar shower. It is a bag with a nozzle. You set it in the sun for a few hours and it heats for washing hands, a quick clean up, or for hot water for washing dishes!
This wonderful family should definitely deserve many more subscribers! Always fun, educational and heartwarming. They're an exemplary example of what parents are meant to be. I have a 27 yr old daughter and I wished I had spend more time with her when she was little. Fortunately, now that I am retired, she's mostly by my side. I truly believed, that parents or parents to be, are in awe, and should learn so much from them. By the way, love them hotdogs! I wish we had more time in each state, but we have to get to Alaska to register the kids for school (even for home school). So, we only get a few days in each state. We could have spent a whole month there 🎉

Last year my cousins and I went hiking from the lower Tahquamenon Falls to the upper and then back. 10 miles of hiking up and down hills and tree roots and a lot harder than I thought it would be. Total of 2 1/2 hours to the upper, lunch at the microbrewery, and then 2 hours back (evidently hiked a little faster after lunch). Have a safe trip!!

Yes, we stay in/traveled through: Saint Joesph, Holland, Traverse City, Mackinaw City, Munising, and Grand Marais. All wonderful places to visit!! We meant to make a stop in Petoskey, as well.
We live in southeastern Ohio and we call them coney dogs. We enjoyed at trip to the UP and enjoyed those falls too. I didn't know about those rocks. That was very interesting.
oh I would love to be on the road right now. lucky kids are learning while having fun. Forest might be too young to remember but Cedar and Granite are like sponges soaking in all they can learn. My husband and I are planning a 6 wks road trip as well but needs 1yr more of savings lol. Hopefully by end of 25 or early 2026 will be off to new adventures. ❤ your vlogs!!!
I don’t eat hot dogs in general, but if I was going to eat one, it would have to have mustard and it would have to be absolutely smothered in sauerkraut! If I recall correctly, my grandmother always loved hot dogs with sauerkraut as well!

Lol, "He must be editing." I have lived here, upstate NY, since 2002, and you already beats me with the Great Lakes visit, 3 to 2. I need to visit all five lakes. When I eat, I go for the exotic stuff. Fish: Skins, eyes, brain. I tell people I'm on a seafood diet. I see food, and I eat it. If I can down a balut or shrimp paste, I can down anything. I still pinch my nose for durian though. That's the only food I avoid when I can.

It’s a very tender and tasty fish.. it’s actually my favorite… Lake perch and walleye are in my top three favorite fish.. Take care and safe travels .

We are with you 😂 See Food Diet! Granite can eat balut, woodworm, and durian, but struggled with oysters until this year. 🙌
