Well....given the occult and the fact people's souls got stolen and folks murdered all around 7 Millennium Items made from the flesh, blood and bones of an entire village (Yes, all of this is canon to the original uncut/Japanese version and manga.) with the virtual reality literally causing health problems, and the fact this is an ancient war game, makes me think it's dramatic enough lmao. Trust me, 4kids is the one that gave it THAT reputation! Plus, it's a Shonen manga for adolescents which doesn't help with the character designs and how over-the-top it is 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

The show is underrated? I guess from a more general Anime standpoint, but in the yugioh fandom DM nostalgia gets milked more than a dairy cow. It’s like every other set some years is just loaded with cards for Yugi, Kaiba or someone else. Sure there’s love for the other series, but it’s sandwiched between whatever DM era card got a retrain or support. Not to mention most of the expensive high end merchandise is almost always a DM monster or character. I don’t think it’s underrated in terms of the franchise. After all, chances are there will be at least ten more cards that are meant to directly support Dark Magician or Blue-Eyes before the year is done.
The artist who sung this song also done two Pokemon openings. The ones I can think of off the bat are I Believe (Master Quest) and Unbeatable (Advanced Battle).
I came here after seeing the Dark Side of Dimensions movie this morning. Nostalgia overload, I had an awesome time! There was a Bandit Keith cosplayer at the theater I went to, so that was cool to see, not to mention all of the other fans that were there! No, that was Russell Velazquez who sang that theme. He has an official upload of this and other openings he worked on complete with full credit breakdowns (as 4Kids credits only credit the songwriters and never the actual performers in their TV series).

i agree with most people here, gx wasnt that bad i cant deny that it had it's flaws but what doesnt? 5d was awesome once i got over the fact that they are on motorcycles, its still the same concept just more action filled and i loved that it dared to get so serious at times. and zexal... dont have a real stance yet, its silly again which isnt that good and they are making up alot of dumb theme decks (tomato deck, really?) but i still enjoy it.
