Wodenaz spears are some of the best spears in the Suebi army and a good place for a general.
16:11 that's just a thing with the suebi unfortunately. The balance of power thinks all their low and mid tier infantry sucks ass, which they do, even against similarly trash units. Makes the early game a pain in the ass because you have to manually fight every single little engagement or else the game will just kill half your army just to take a 8 unit garrison. My guess is either it's heavily overestimating the single unit of oathsworn, or it's heavily penalizing you for not having cav while the enemy does
Nice to see the Suebi campaign! Just a note; instead of waiting for your general to die to switch out his bad bodyguard unit, you could've just replaced him and recruited a new bodyguard when appointing the new general for the army. :)

Yeah but then he would not have DIED IN GLORIOUS BATTLE and not made it to Valhalla and he would have cursed you for the rest of his miserable life.
What is the best mix of units for a good suebi army ?
Really not sure to be honest, its a faction I rarely play as. Can't go wrong with a couple of Berserkers mixed in though haha
@@manix429 yeah it's my first time playing with them I never play with barbarian factions but this is my first campaign with them so idd maybe you know it's best units
