Hello. I repair supermarket refrigeration in America. I lived in Japan for a little while prior to starting my career. Sometimes I fantasize about moving back to japan but I probably wont (my wife is Japanese). I would like to know, what is life like as a Japanese refrigeration technician. Do you work many hours? Do you drive many miles like I do every day? Do more supermarket companies employ their own technicians? How much do refrigeration technicians make? I wish I spoke better Japanese. I hope the translator can help me out here. This will probably just remain a fantasy for me but it is fun to think about. Do you recommend any channels that show what day to day life of a technician looks like? Thank you.
I dont know everything about repairing of refrigeration, but after-sales service always belongs to the manifacture. So if you want to take the job,you have to make a relationship for the manifacture such as Panasonic,Nakano Reiki,Hoshizaki. As you know, the repairing of refrigeration is emergency and the work is regardless of night and holiday and a lot of work is concentrate in summer. I will hear about replys of your other questions from my acquaintance and tell them later.Thanks.
@@airconnoeiwa thank you for your response. I work around 50 hours a week but I'm in a special situation. It is not uncommon for technicians to work 80 hours or more in the summer. Is there a shortage of technicians in Japan? There is here, which makes it difficult sometimes.
