Benni uses Fusion360 from autodesk. If you are an artist you can use it for free even! :) And the 3D model we found on a FFXIV model viewer website (just google for it!) :)

I hope one day get it ready, and I want to get your books as soon as possible. I only have a question, where do you recommend to look for a pattern? Sometimes I look for an armor pattern on internet but there are only poor quality images. So it gets a bit difficult trying to get the right one. I ask this because I saw that you used kind of a magazine for making your boots patterns.
It totally depends on what costume your want to make. Check out sewing shops for fabric patterns but for armor you mostly have to make the patterns yourself. The embroidery is a genius choice, some would only use printed transfer paper. Embroidery makes that oriental feel!

Ive been wondering for a while, why do you use duct tape for templates, and sometimes painters tape? Why choose one over the other? Thanks =)
