I worked at Pizza Port Brewing years ago and one night after closing when we were cleaning the place up someone put this on the jukebox over 10 times on repeat. It was like being in some weird alternate reality after the 3rd go in a row.
Try have a grease stain on the windshield sing "Baby Gotterdamarung" to you while drive west I-70 in the middle of the night on hour 40 of 44 straight. That's an alternate universe.
very nice interpretation of the Velvets. Weindorf is a damn good vocalist. i saw em 3 times. last time i droped some sunshine25. it was amazing. sometimes creepy, but beautyfull. and it was soo goddamn fuckin loud. first i was little irritated, but then , after 5 min , i lost the feeling of that infernal sound . now the music seemed to become kinda organic. the bass crawls round my legs and the guitars fell from the fractal ceilling. by the end of the set, they played "spine of god". senor weinstein crushed his guitar and , i swear, he bites into the poor instrument. did i say, that A. Hoffman was ciycling inside my brain, during this time. holy fuck. mr weinstein looked like an liquid alien. the whole stage was whipping and extending and moving in waves of the coloured spots of the discoglasssphere. i saw a lot of bands on acid trip, but that was something very special!!! thanx for uploading and thanx to the magnets satanic drug thing. i ´ll always understand !!!
@TheSilentAstronaut Referring to the metering as being my version of perfection & referring to the verve as iambic. Never fear, the States will never speak Queen's English; as we've created our own version, thanks in part to E.E. Cummings. A meter is a rhythmic pattern of a stanza and an iamb is a metrical foot consisting of unstressed syllables followed by stressed syllables utilized as a unit of measurement in poetry. Verve is an energetic style...hence perfectly metered iambic verve.
Alles Geschmackssache und persönliches Empfinden. Technisch usw. alles top, also sehr gutes Cover.
Other than the original this is the best I've have ever heard, capturing the vibe to perfection....those guitars are sublime.
Dave's mind and Mundell's tone make this a dream of sound

Ahhh ,now it all makes sense right? Probably somewhere else to someone else but just the same. Right Right 😎😎
Visceral, I think John Cale would approve.

Nicely fucking done!
whatever version i hear, the bong rips feel better
Then you do not know the original, nor this version well. I am glad you appreciate Lou Reed all the same.
👌
No, if you can't tell the difference you really can't hear very well or can't tell different versions/songs apart, lol.
I can hardly tell the difference between this and the original. They definitely stuck to the source.
You know it's a Velvet Underground cover, right?
Uhm, Josh, what makes you think they didn't?
@@stuartjenkins3039 Honestly, I don't fucking know. It was two years ago and I was probably drunk when I posted the comment. I'm not that bright.
@@done1675 Drunk hi-fives, misses. Me too man, me too.
Not bad
i was gonna hit the like button, but its currently at 666 so...
Hi, i’m the 666th like.
Netter Versuch. Das Original bleibt aber unerreichbar. Monster Magnet haben schon mal besser gecovert
