@@papaisduniyakapapa I've been listening to this band for over ten years. That fucking riff in this song was so damn unexpected and heavy. It's like.... A nice light chanty song then bam heavy as fuck and chaotic. Imo it's their best heavy riff.
@@maestro2332 yea my i got into gojira around L'enfant. I do listen to FMTS/TWOAF alot, those are prob my faves, but fortitude is a fucking album. It's sooo good. Like I listened to magma a bit when it came out but I wasn't nearly this hype about it. The last album I obsessed this much over was where owls know my name by rivers of nihil. I still daily that album too haha. Anyways cheers random internet person! \m/
I finally made time to listen to this album and this track is the stand out one for me (Sphinx a close second place). It's main riff is soooooo freaking sweet! It's the type of riff that has a good pulse to it, something that almost sounds mechanical like a train or somebody jogging, that thud of the guitars and drums carries the listener through right to the spectacular end!
Song makes me tear up
Being consoled by gojira
And the pure emotion in his voice near the end
Happened to me today
This album DOES NOT SEACE TO AMAZE ME EVERY FUCKING DAY!!! 16 DAYS since release and ive been stuck on every song...this is my new favorite!
The fucking riff in this song. I swear it's the heaviest riff they'd done so far.... can't wait to see this live.
Heaviest riff? Bruh
@@mutatednut Yes that riff that kicks in at like 1:40...
I ain't gonna call it heaviest, but it's groovy AF.
Checkout their older work if you're looking for actual heavy riffs, specially FMTS/TWOAF.
