I drive the British Sport Green 2015 R Supercharged 550 BHP Coupe RWD since a month ago - every second is magical.
That's the assembly line my Jaguar F-Type V8-S Convertible rolled off of. Mine is a Italian Racing Red convertible with red top and red seats with red and black console and red and black door panels. It's beautiful and wicked fast and loud.
At last a worthy successor to the E-Type. A beautiful car.

Amazing to watch. I have a 2018 coupe and enjoy every minute driving such a vehicle. It is fast, comfortable and makes a statement inside and out. The exhaust note is just amazing. I just had one vendor who has dealt with many cars over the years. He said the F-type is now his new favorite.
Is it v6 or v8 you have??how is the gearbox ?
@@ferro706 I have the F-Type R so that is the supercharged V8 with AWD. I find the transmission to be tight and fast. I am very impressed and this is coming from an M5. I have not paddle shifted as the transmission seems to be far more attentive than I could ever be.
Wow so the R is 4x4 and svr is rear wheel or had the R more power to???iam looking for a f type a v6 but with manual gearbox cuz you cant Get manual in 8 cylinder f type but my choice is f type or benz amg gt🤔🤔I love the f type sound but most be v8 it sounds more brutal then the v6👍But is the m5 gearbox from f90 model?ive heard some friends of mine says that the gearbox is littlebit clunky.have you been driving amg gt?its a hard choice What to go for.
@@ferro706 The SVR has more horsepower (and a wing!) - about a 25 hp increase and is AWD. I would go with the V8 - I always say go big or go home. You are right, the V8 has the sounds when you accelerate or decelerate (popping, growling and just mean). I do play more with the F-type because of the feel and the noise. The dual clutch in the M5 (DTC) was OK. It did accelerate well but the DTC is a bit quirky like you have to make sure you set the electric brakes or the car may roll away when parked. Average launches did have the engaging clutch feel unlike that of a mechanical transmission which is immediate. Both the F-Type and the F90 use a ZF transmission. I think the F90 is an 8 speed where my 2018 is a 6 speed. I don't think you will miss the stick as the computer is faster and does not make mistakes. Never drove AMG as they are pricey and no deals. I think their quality it right up there and love their interiors. I am not sure about the huge hood and short deck look. Up to the driver. Jaguar will deal and used ones depreciate greatly making them a great buy.
I have a 18 r dynamic roadster 380, I'm 78 and love every moment with it. Most fun of all the cars if owned. At 6 4, 250 lbs it is a little tuff to get in and out of but once in is perfect.

Agreed. Spyshots of the new F-Type lead me to believe that the next generation F-Type will look very similar to this.
@@S0UNDWAVE I hope that they don't loose the styling in order to be different. I like the current look and perhaps I would try to make the interior a bit larger. I am 6' 195 and I just fit. Any bigger and it would not be comfortable. I do hope that they come up with a better cover and system for the rear storage area.

The glass is hit to make sure the glue is sealed, the guys usually have a weighted pad that they hold to do this, the guy shouldn't be doing it with his has for his own safety, but I can assure you, you could punch a cars glass as hard as you could, your hand is going to break first :P
