Tuning in and watching from Atlanta GA!!! So happy that Mark found Tony, which lead Tony to a very healthy and a welcoming extended family. Two poets who are deep thinkers with big hearts - hope they are headed for great things. I am cheering them on!!!
This episode was on real stories and tony made an update about 4 years ago. 1.He was working at a solicitors and saving up to move to Liverpool. 2.His brother has a fiancé and moved from Scarborough to the same town as tony they have a good relationship. 3 They plan on moving to Liverpool together. 4. And John John was kicked out shortly after this was filmed his family made him realise how used tony was by him. 5. He still keeps up with his dads side of the family and his nan has sadly passed away about 5 years ago.
@ShannonMacri-987 This comment was from a year ago but I’m pretty sure tony made a UA-cam channel and commented on the video answering people’s questions I just compiled his answers into one comment. As to what video that is I don’t know as there’s a lot of videos like this copied to other channels.
It's becomes very clear, very quickly that the mother was the problem - not the kids. Really hope life has turned out beautifully for the both of you x
I came from a fractured dysfunctional family and was estranged from 3 sisters.....6 years ago one of them tracked me down on UA-cam and commented on one of my videos, I hadn't had any contact with her for 20 years........we had a very emotional reunion a few months later when she flew up to Wellington and we stayed in a hotel for 3 days. We stayed up all night talking on all those nights, putting the pieces back together. We are very close now and I am so glad.
My parents also have been disappointed about me after I left school and didn't ask where I was going younger than 16. Parenting is not always Disney World.
it is unfathomable to me that there are so many people who have kids without ANY maternal or Paternal Instinct and just carry on as if everything is copacetic...but they have a CHILD and could care less...i don't get it
Toni is a wonderful human, wise beyond his years, so resilient and he remained kind throughout it all. I absolutely loved the poem he read to his brother. Great documentary and it really does put things in perspective.
As of someone who’s mother kicked me out cause of a man at the age of 15 this hit hard,I dragged myself thru middle school, high school and half way thru collage alone until I needed money more than that certificate Now as a mother myself my son will never go without a home
I hope that Tony and his family are still happy, healthy and well. This story really tugged at my heartstrings, but it's also a wonderful motivator that shows what the human spirit is truly capable of when it comes to starting from scratch.
Both brothers look like their dad. Such sad circumstances for them all. Glad they found each other and reunited with the family. Those 2 young men should be proud of themselves. ❤️ From USA.
I remember watching this documentary on a different channel a few years back, Tony actually commented on that video and said he was doing well and (if I remember correctly ) was working at an insurance agency
I'm so happy for Tony. He certainly has a way with words; the poem he read to his brother was incredible. I wish for all good things to happen to him now that he's working and found family. He just needs to get rid of the mooching roommate; he's not a true friend at all.
Boys …….. You 2 have big hearts and determination. You guys have learned so much. Take that wisdom and share with the youngins that want to leave home like you guys did. Let them know the grass isn’t greener on the other side Good Luck Boys ! Lisa 🇺🇸 Myrtle Beach, SC 🌴
It’s so frustrating that John John tells tony that certain stuff is his . When it’s tony benefits paying for it . And anyone saying oh he’s doing the shopping for him . John John living there for free he 100% needs to be contributing something
Yeah he should be contributing towards food and bill's since he is basically living there full time(and at least tidy the house instead of being a complete moocher sleeping on his couch all day)
He started cleaning his house after he met his family and said goodbye to his dad , the anxiety went after seeing his family so he was able to clean his home finally , it’s amazing what the love of family can do
What? All John John does is criticize Tony, sponge off him, and take advantage of him. He's not a good friend at all. Doesn't pay a single bill, refuses to work, and speaks poorly about Tony.
@@alexshaw8167 I know, I felt so bad for him. I really hope he was able to get close with his Grandparents and his brother and have a little more help along the way. He seemed so innocently incapable
🚨UPDATE: By the looks of it, Tony is doing really well and is working for a legal / law company in Leeds! Tony looks to be intouch with the family shown in the documentary including Mark. It looks like Mark moved back to Leeds also. (Source: Social Media Profiles).
Tony is emotionally like a little boy but I understand why. I can’t believe they don’t clean. Hasn’t done laundry in two months 😳 you have body spray on dirty clothes 😟
not necessarily, sometimes if you com from a really strict environment once your on your own you just kinda let go. he will get better about eventually.
That was heart wrenching and shows the struggle of many young lives. I wish the brothers happy lives going forward.
This story tore at my heart. I'm so glad these brothers found eachother

A very sad start but a joyous ending. I wish these brothers and their family every happiness.
Maybe the mum organised camera man
Wonderful story of the resilience of youth to becoming a confident adult. So many of us have never dealt with an awful childhood.
This was a great documentary! What a sweet young man. I wish him all love, happiness and joy 💐💐💐
such a shame he got great GCSE's but never had family support to guide him to further education .
How can his Mum sleep at night without knowing where her son is living and what he’s doing? So sad
Either of her sons. Sounds like she has issues of her own, too. They might be better off without her.
How’s she supposed to find him ?

Well done ! I bet you’re a great Mom.
Did you ever spin your mum's jaw? Nobody should get between you and your mothers relationship. How sad.

I thought that, the resemblance between both of them and their father is uncanny
I hope all of these young men have a good life 🙏
Tony is the sweetest soul. I hope nothing has happened since to change that.
This documentary is like the most gigantic warm cuddly hug you could ever get

A parent who turns their child away for any reason never loved their child in the first place. Love is supposed to be unconditional.

Toni is doing amazing for his efforts spite everything else going on..im inspired by him
27:20 these two looks like a main characters in a high school movie😂🤣💙love this documentary and i wish them happy life
Great story. It's been years but hope for them the best of lives
What a sweet kid, I would love to have him in my family.
What lovely brothers they are. So alike. They look like twins. I wish them all the love and luck in the world , they are beautiful humans . ❤️
Tony is a real sweetheart and his brother is sweet too
Toni has given me a new affirmation for life.
An orderly bookshelf. Not a pile on the floor.
Hugs my boy from a stranger across the pond.
I'm so glad they found each other. I just wonder how they are doing now
What a sweet kid. His little friend seems like a very negative person to be around. Give him the boot!
Incredible story ! Happy for them both. They could almost be twins !! God bless them and their family !
Im over here screaming update !!! I need one :)

Lovely doco, felt second hand butterflies for Tony 🥲🥰
I'm glad he has some decent family now to make some memories with, his nan and brother seemed lovely, shame on the mother.
I have the biggest smile on face he found his long lost family beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
This made me cry, I’m so happy he found his family and the truth, this really made my day so happy 👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really enjoyed watching this!.❤️
i really wanted to meet his mum
It's sad that they don't even know the basics of cleaning, ironing, washing, ect.
Did u even focus on the documentary??? It’s not about the ironing lady
He’s such a kind soul - I’m so looking forward to read a boon of his - I hope he didn’t give up that dream

The mooching couch cruiser needs a wake up call. Bin that buddy Toni, you deserve better mates.
I absolutely love how John John takes care of him. Everyone should be so lucky to have a friend like him, what a gem. I really hope they are all well
What? All John John does is criticize Tony, sponge off him, and take advantage of him. He's not a good friend at all. Doesn't pay a single bill, refuses to work, and speaks poorly about Tony.
I didn’t see it that way, they are both just kids trying to figure life out. He made mistakes but I could really see his desire to care for Tony.
It’s so upsetting that Tony needs so much help with basic life tasks because he never had a good example
