Come with me in this exciting adventure to black rock desert desert. I canceled Burnin Man would not stand for we had a back up plan. That was plan B . Everything still on our way from special restrictions in the Bureau of land management to fires in the Tahoe area and the fear of the illness but burning man 2021 ended up being spectacular! one of the best years ever. Nobody was killed at least that’s what reports say so far one week later the moop Situation was also better than some recent years. Correction on the population It was actually a little over 16,500 on Saturday night
This video takes you on a journey through the magical days of burning man 2021. the year that was not supposed to happen. Despite all that student our way over 20,000 people showed up and brought gifts to share art sound systems and more. 
In this documentary You will see almost every art car that was on Playa this Labor Day weekend. This was a fantastic year for our cars without having the DMV as a barrier of entry. We could also drive cars on Esplanade and keep our fire tools close by safely locked up in my van.
There were many changes about 2021 but most of them were good. Almost everyone I spoke to said roughly the same thing “I hope it’s like this next year”
There were no lines no ticket prices it was free no Porta potty’s but people found a WaY

It was an amazing experience. My camp is at 1:27, Altitude Lounge! We are glad everyone got to meet Mr. Barry RoMantis out front.
I'm actually there at 1:28 in the bottom left in the pink visor. I am reading a gifted poem to my wonderful neighbors. I love that this moment was captured.
This event changed my life… In the midst of unknown levels of threats to our civil liberties it was a major win taking the chance on this trip. Nothing short of a spiritual journey. 🧿🍄🦋🌪

I'm bummed that I haven't gen yet and want to make sure when I go they will have most of the things from previous years so I can see. Thanks so much for your video.

Wow that drone show at 3:45 is simply amazing... the sheer number of perfectly synchronized drones in the air and the programming that went into it.
I love that people went out there anyway! You don’t need an organization to gather but you do need each other to make it happen! Much love, freedom, and peace!
Looks like a great time was had by all.... w/ a discrete little bit of fire :) Probably better than the previous yrs of high cost mega events. The light drones were terrific too! Maybe more like this every yr?
We hope so!! There will always be 4th of ju playa which is free and out in the same location. Some people discuss right now throwing a free burn just outside the territory of the official one
well, at least they could bring their best pals on Earth, their dogs...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those drone lights are so cool, glad I checked it out I think it looked like everyone was having a good time, clearly, a little fire dance not hurting one damn thing, I am 78 years old and wished I could have been there, my husband died this year and I would have gone out there to just be free and have a good time, a good time my husband would have not wanted me to have.!!!! Maybe next year, Live on young ones, live on.

I had more fun at this renegade compared to some ye year I went with all the rules. Even having to hide from the rangers for fire spinning just made it ALL MORE SPECIAL to do shows

I gifted slices fo License plates for my Madonna Car made out of 500 License Plates.
I think there should be a plan b and a burning man, and maybe both would be 50,000 eventually.
Maybe plan b will be 100$ with tickets at gate.
And Burning man is more for tech crowd and influencers.
I liked the riffraff that showed up when there use to be tickets at gate.

Simply bliss event and closest thing to Kumbh Mela on this land. The 11 Principles changed my life and made me a better human being, imho. Celebrate Liberation!

Amazing how well this came together! I love our community
I couldn't make it out there until the Tuesday after Plan B ended. We camped on the outskirts of the playa, not knowing what would be left of Plan B. That 1st night, we saw lasers shining toward the heavens.. and rode out to them. To our pleasant surprise, there was still a lot going on. It was so great! Everyone made us feel immediately welcome, like we were all old friends. It went on a few more nights, dwindling a bit more each night. Met some terrific people and have some new friends now. I've never been to an official burn, but the idea of Plan B appeals to me much more. Waiting to see what happens as this year moves forward!
Black Rock City. A city that lasts for a week and then disappears for an entire year. truly an experience forged by the people that I wish I could experience.

Thank you for showing us on Dreamcycle TWICE!! We were married on our 8th anniversary (the Wednesday of BM), he proposed on our 6th. This was a very special event. I missed the art and fire, but you're right, it was the year of the art cars!!

We are going this year and the paperwork is madness... the ticket drama, madness... all for something we did on our own last year for free.
Seriously looking forward to next year! I’m going next year i just hope the official organizers don’t mess it up and cause there to be two different events.

Hey there, over the years as I have dreamt of attending a Burning Man I have watched inumerable documentaries of the events and yours is the first that even approached making sense and was presented in some sort of organized manner. Thank you. Hopefully some boyfriend (or even gurlfrined) will take me to a burning man event before I am just too old...

Just finished watching burning man 2015 .... utter quality.... this "year" burning man 2021 is a renegade version and has lost the the message and the purity of what Burning means and its art message .... surely a new venue on the horizon xxx
the burning man organization made sure any “art” or structures were forbidden unless for shade… I took a risk bringing my flaming heart out there. We had submitted a plan for our own man. But they used all our requests against us making special rules like “no fire dancing from x date to x date” juuuuust to try and stop us from having our own burning man with out the expensive ticket
I died laughing at the end of the video !!! We had a make shift burning man unregulated... I burned my arm lol so he took "burning man" to an unachievable level of literally burning man!?!?!

The natives and people in the nearby small town didn't want people coming during the pandemic because they had enough to deal with, with their incredibly limited resources, lack of medical care, etc and it is a huge burden on them every year. I think it was radically disrespectful.

Lighted drones, neone lights, and music Kentick motion wind powered sculptures, mutant cars, and the other cars could make pyrotechnics unnecessary. So more locations to party across the USA might accept the basic concept, and these people's money.
Posibbly massive use of solar power for neon lights displays. Might make this a more doable idea. Buy being a eco friendly solar-powered add.

The more I watch about Burning Man, the more I see, that people are snobs in their ordinary lives and at the festival alike. If you are free from any social rules, why to dress and behave like clowns, does it really make you happy?

10:35 those guns could have been actual vortex canons! you need to have some smoke to make the vortices visible but that just makes it cooler
At night it lit up and was a totally different experience super cool a genius named Angelo made that cannon and the king matsukahn art car that pulled it

thank you I did take good care of it. I learned a new fire breathing trick but at a great cost. Luckily it was only on the surface of my skin it’s been about three weeks and the burn is nearly 100% recovered ☺️
