Most underrated channel. Lot of things helped me, showed me another view how I can see my break up situation. Ty for that ❤️ even therapist cant helped me and say things like you here in 10 mins video. Big shout out to you brother. Ty
I got dumped about a month ago, and even though it’s not my first rodeo, it hurt so much. I thought I had really found the “one”, but complex trauma can be a bitch and it just happens that (at least now, it used to be worst) it gets triggered when I’m in a vulnerable state and fully committed to someone. I have come to terms with my part of it, wish this beautiful person the best, and know it was part of the journey. Now, I am better prepared to tackle my deficiencies. Long story short, thanks for the video, was very helpful…Stay strong everyone, onwards and upwards
I feel you my friend. In relationship is when we have a giant mirror exposing us to ourselves. It can be so great for growth, and also very challenging to cope with along the way. Give it time, learn from it, and keep your head up!
My best friend killed himself a year ago. And i guess it changed me. Had trouble dealing whit it and became distant and moody. And becaus of that my partner left me. Now im trying to deal whit the loss of him and her at the same time. Thanks for any advice
Sometimes hard things come in pairs, I can imagine that is tough as hell to deal with. I've learned that things happen for a reason, and it may not make any sense now but one day it will. If your partner left you during that time, it's probably for the best because you don't want someone who isn't there for you during dark times. Sorry to hear about your friend, do what you can to honor her in how you show up moving forwards - much love.
Realize that forgiving them isn't about them. It's about letting yourself off the hook from the resentment you are feeling, so you can find peace. It's like that one analogy around holding a grudge being like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die - it only hurts you. Find the lesson from the experience and person, gratitude for the growth, and then clarity on how to honor yourself moving forward with how you show up & how you choose to engage with the other person.
Thank you...that makes a lot of sense! I've always been a person that holds grudges and won't forgive or forget. I'm trying to change that and reinvent myself to be a better version of me.
Hahah I appreciate the comment - brother I've been through some hairy Shit like losing my brother. However when you are with someone since age 14 - and go that deep (engagement etc) it's brutal. Subjective, but brutal.
@@therileyconder Ok, the end of a 14 year relationship would definitely change the vision of your life. But I think the loss of my older brother would be worse. Like you said, subjective.

Glad it helped you out. I know how you feel my friend
You have a beautiful voice
You just read out everything I told myself after I got dumped a month ago. Thank you

I really needed this

How do you learn to forgive someone?

Probably a dick comment but it’s true. If ending your relationship was the hardest thing you’ve ever done. Your bar for hard things is quite low.
