And that Michelle was HAPPY the morning after Jennifer disappeared. These were great witnesses for the prosecution, not the defense.
It’s definitely a bad look for Fotis and Michelle. Especially Michelle’s happiness after finding out. The defense thought she would come off as looking innocent because she continued on with her normal plans. But, I would think that completely innocent people who wished no harm on Jennifer would have been anxious and very concerned for the kids. Instead, it seemed like both Fotis and Michelle were simply planning to get on with their lives as a new family of 8. Fotis was in NYC demanding his kids seemingly without any plans to deal with the ongoing mystery of their mother’s disappearance. Michelle was at the salon probably preparing for the new family photo. Ugh.
not to mention a death cert that states cause of death and how that cause makes Fotis look even more guilty. her attorneys are insuring her conviction.
All along she was jealous of Mrs.Fotis who was much better looking, had beautiful children, and the husband she wanted to steal. She wanted Jennifer's life. The reality is she was just as crazy as Fotis himself, and they would never have lasted...even if he was never caught. I bet she is also a sociopath/psychopath because she doesn't seem to possess any morals or empathy.
Yes exactly! And this was a defense witness. What were they thinking? That it somehow shows she didn't know? She definitely knew JD was at least "missing"!! But I believe she knew a LOT more.
Jennifer's mother on the stand was so sharp for almost 90 years old but 'Shoehorn' was awful asking Jennifer's mom if she remembers her daughter's phone number. Wth?
I hear he’s doing his job, good move to ask about the phone number. Seems it cruel because of her age and beauty but that’s his position to do so. Just Sayin
Watching Jennifer's mother testify breaks my heart. It's difficult for a parent to lose a child. How is Jennifer going to fake her death when Fotis is disposing evidence??? Utterly ridiculous!!!
Yes, I agree with you. there is something SOOO sketchy about that "impromptu" dinner the VERY NIGHT BEFORE Jennifer's disappearance. It was, IMHO, a way to :"feed" details that he wanted potential witnesses to be "able" to "relate" to law enforcement, if called upon. Premeditated... It seems so obvious IMHO.
Agree with others comments ... what I got from today is they were "happy" and cheerful the night before Jennifers disappearance - I took that as they KNEW the plan and Jennifer wasnt going to be an issue anymore. Today totally backfired for the defense!
I also believe she knew. Her response about the fireplace being lit "year round" is telling. I bet nobody in CT burns a fire inside "year round". And certainly not in a day so hot that the gum you try to toss out the window sticks to your finger.
Michelle was all involved in the goings on in Fotis’ life. She always knew what he was doing and where he was…if she found out he kept something from her or she felt deceived, she would flip him off or throw her phone down. This is what the detectives uncovered thru her interviews and phone records. But on the morning of the 24th after trying to supply a false alibi to Fotis. She claims she didn’t know where he was all morning up until she had lunch at approx 1pm? Then later that day they were getting physical against the Toyota truck. So she wasn’t upset that she didn’t know his whereabouts that day. She knew everything.
The defense witness Beth Reich has actually scored points for the prosecution. Her testimony illustrates the tone of the May 23 dinner, specifically on the “toasts” Fotis made where it may have seen natural and “normal” but she qualified truthfully (at prosecution’s redirect) that the entire event felt that there were a sharp contrast of what really happened (when she spoke of the dichotomy of the positivity that night). Dichotomy means a division or contrast between two things or events that are represented as being opposed or entirely different. She basically said that in hindsight, the events of March 23 dinner, although at that time seemed normal and positive, was actually not what it seemed. She was quite emotional about it and was about to say something about Fotis but was interrupted by the objections. I thought this witness was stellar and I applaud her honesty and integrity. I also loved her admiration for lexicon.
Agree 100%! It was so obvious that Beth had an emotional connection to Jennifer, and that she didn’t/doesn’t care for Michelle. Beth smiled so much when talking about Jennifer, but not at all about Michelle.
Not good for the defense that the witness brought up Jennifer’s father. Opened up the door for prosecution to tell the jury that her father was financing much of the business. Prosecutor also very quick jumping on the “Fotis time” concept and that he would never show up anywhere early (as he did for that last visitation at Jennifer’s house).
I only wish there could have been additional charges made against TROCONIS for never revealing where Jennifer’s body is. Because it’s clear to everyone at this stage in this long Trial that Troconis knew everything! Cannot wait until she’s in her new home - the teensy cement cell with bars on it - not the Mansion on acreage she was accustomed to - which was JENNIFER’S HOME -- NOT hers!!!!
None of MF’s witnesses seem to actually be anything more than acquaintances who’ve only been with her for a few times, not actually friends with her who know her character. I don’t think any of them have helped her at all.
He was probably waiting for her when she returned home from the school run. Would have waited for her to open the garage herself then accosted her into the parking bay. Or, she left the bay open and he followed her in (I don't think she brought her purse to the school run at all, but intended to get it when she returned). I think regardless of what MT knew or didn't know, she ultimately continued a lie instead of being forthright to save herself. Binning trash the day yer boyf wife goes missing is wild and she should have helped police from the beginning.
The only thing I’m not figuring out is the night of the dinner. FD was in his car and ran into the couple. Then came back and left again to buy meat! Final preps for the next morning murder?
Exactly! Initially it was to be a dinner out, for sushi. But abruptly the plans changed to a quick dinner at the house in order to put the final touches on their deadly deed, with Fotis leaving not just one but twice, once to buy meat. Please, plan a simple dinner party for all of 6 ppl but forget to buy enough chicken? And of course he and MT were happy and relaxed, toasting the fact that soon circumstances would change. They knew that in mere hours Jen would be out of their lives for good; the kids returned to them; all of them enjoying happy times once again, water skiing at their beloved pond.
Before this trial began a few weeks ago I was open to believing Michelle and thinking maybe she could be innocent but now after 25 days of being on trial I think she’s guilty guilty guilty. I wonder if she maybe even encouraged Fotis to follow through with murdering Jennifer and used their little meeting with a psychologist to find out information about whatever mental illness she accused Jennifer of having as a way to make murdering Jennifer seem even more appealing to Fotis. Her body language in the CCTV footage from Starbucks is very telling and so are her interviews, she was all over the place and was trying to manipulate the detectives into disclosing information so she’d know what information they had and the interview she becomes emotional in after the lady detective tells her Fotis seemed to be wanting to get back with Jennifer based off of what was saw in his text messages, but she wasn’t at all upset that a mother of 5 children was missing and her boyfriend had thrown away evidence containing items belonging to Jennifer. I’d think if someone were innocent after hearing that, no matter how they felt about someone they’d be appalled and ready to help with anything and everything they could help with. Nothing any significant other could come up with would be a good enough lie to have an explanation as to why in the world they’d thrown away items belonging to their missing former spouse, not one single thing. Michelle seems like she didn’t want to ever come clean about what happened even after Fotis had passed because she didn’t want to look like she’s a terrible person and ruin her “upstanding” image. I hope she gets the maximum sentence for her charges and finally feels some remorse for what she was an accomplice to, especially after hearing how happy she was the days before and after Jennifer couldn’t be found. Prayers for the Farber family and the Dulos children and Michelle’s daughter too. I feel bad for her that she has to go suffer for her mother’s terrible choices.
My thoughts exactly!!! Michelle goaded fotis to do it. and he unalives himself BUT supposedly has a new gf....BS. He probably thought she would come and save him.

I cannot put my finger on it but there is a major creep factor with his story, the LEAST of which is his disproportionate "sorrow" regarding the"sacred ground" of The "POND" rather than the missing mother of five and at the MOST, the fact that he DOES seem to be hiding something; he came across, I think, as overly emotional. After it closing in on five years, this guy is STILL WHINING? Something doesn't pass the stink test.

Even the hairstylist’s testimony that Jennifer was happy on May 25, the day after the murder was alleged to have occurred, could possibly backfire on the defense. The prosecuting attorney made it a point to have her reiterate that Michelle was happy that day! For the jurors, this potentially could infer that Michelle was happy because she knew her rival was gone and her new life and happy days would begin. Remember the May 23 dinner toasts - “…to new beginnings!” Another dichotomy of events that Beth Reich testified at redirect.
Dude sobbing about his pond being searched by police and K9 units was ridiculous. If his loved one was missing, I'm sure he wouldn't be sobbing. Worst part of his life??? The mother of the children of your friend of 30 years disappeared! As for the real estate agent...why do you and your finance have the same last name? 🤔
I’ve never heard someone so passionate over a pond before. It was mind boggling to watch a person care more about a pond than a missing mother of 5 that he knew. He looked like he was going to cry on the stand over it being searched. No empathy for Jennifer or the kids. What kind of community is this? This is not normal.

I love how the prosecutor asked just one question of the hairdresser on cross - So Michelle was happy? Nothing further. Wow. That really spoke volumes 😮
Yes she is happy riding with fotus...while...lòosing or jennifer is missing...happy on throwing the evidence bec. Jennifer is gone...happy to be the wife of fotus
I envy this water skier guy who has never had anything bad happen in his life. He is so protective of his pond that it is so sacred. He is really intense. IT is the most traumatic event in his life that police would trample on his "club"life. YIKES!!
Did you hear the part where the judge said” the court is not required to asess the strength of the states case. The court is just required to determine whether there is enough evidence to go to the jury.” The judge even knows.
Of course FD was optimistic about more time with his kids..He defense sure KNEW ( or thought) he'd be seeing much more of his kids with him getting J “ out of the way”! Defense is pathetic.
You're right FD was telling Michelle Traconis everything was fine, and she would be a mother of six, because he knew he was going to get Jennifer out of the way by killing her, and he would got full custody. FD was a total loser.
Yes, and today it's most common to have your pet cremated by the vet. Who digs a big hole and buries their large family pet themselves nowadays? Millionaires even less likely to do it themselves.
His "windfall" was only $2 million .... that was the size of the trust for all five of the kids together... not a whole lot in comparison to how in debt he was... BUT, he probably would have "offed" Jennifer's mom next so that the kids would get their inheritance from her.
I think the original plan was to get her to drop the kids off to see the dying dog and grab her and put her in the hole his attorney prepared. She knew he was dangerous and didnt want to go near him or his vile girlfriend.
Could it be possible that Jennifer’s body may have been buried in the grounds or house in 80 Mt. Springs? It’s a huge estate that law enforcement may have skipped. That happens.
Sadly, the police in Connecticut feel she was dismembered and that the bags that went to the dump first went right to the incinerator that's why they're pursuing her to the degree that they are not just because this woman was murdered, but because of the brutal reality of what these two people planned and executed on this innocent woman
I caught the surprise look Showhorn lol gave the Prosc when they announced the State Rests..he wasnt ready..he thouggt he had til after lunch to get his witnesses testimonies in order..Oops
The pond owner forgetting a purse...is strange. I don't know any woman who forgets her purse. Your wallet, phone, makeup, it's like a survival bag. I just don't understand how she'd leave without noticing her empty hands/shoulder.
Oh, good point. I wondered if it had been a plan to steal her purse/hide it and then have an excuse to go to the pond...but that wouldn't make sense, because she would've asked for it.@@swedishgrrl7287
The hair dresser gags me. Clearly the defendant does not tell this hairdresser about burying Jennifer next to the dogs. Wow why is the defense even bothering with this witness?
@Genmore even in wealthy homes, the silverware needs to be removed from the plates, most people throw food down the disposal before putting it in the dishwasher...... do you know much about dishwashers?
I followed this when it first occurred. My first thought was why this man threw away his wife, and kids over something one would find underneath his shoe. And subsequently his life. I'm certain she'll get a fair amount of jail time, the video evidence alone is telling.
Maybe it wasn't something he did 'for Michelle'. He certainly didn't waste ANY TIME finding a replacement! Maybe he simply wanted Jennifer OUT OF THE Way-PERIOD. I'm speculating of course, but I think his GOAL was to take his kids to Greece and I suspect that would have been without a girlfriend at all.
He dismembered her and put her in contractor bags, that's what the police think that she could have been in the bags that got picked up and went through the incinerator😢 very cruel 😢😢😢
This isn’t critical to the case, but I wonder why Beth Johnson who goes by Beth Reich is still Stephen Reich’s “fiancée” and not his wife. They aren’t holding themselves out as married because he specifically said they aren’t married and he called her his fiancée. But if I’m not mistaken, she had on what looked like a wedding ring and, of course, she uses his last name.
There is no way she gets convicted. I have not heard or seen 1 shred of evidence against her. She may well be guilty. I just feel like the evidence against her is extremely weak. Especially considering what the charges are.

Anyone else dying laughing that he had a hot blonde gf and planned on dumping MT
Lmao
Gloria is so sweet. Such a tragedy.
🤔
Sending Love & Strength to Gloria and the children ♥️
Jennifer had her Mother’s smile, it radiated warmth.
My heart breaks for them all!
Michy is gonna be in her new home soon! Concrete decor and peanut butter on stale bread! 🎉
Can’t wait she is awful
Let's hope so.
The Prosecution was amazing. The Defense, I have no words. He is ruthless
Well, the Realtor didn't do Michelle any favors !!
wait till you hear the hairdresser 😅
@@lpt369lol like even why ???
his pond being searched was an AWFUL EXPERIENCE !

He got choked up! What a pathetic human.
I just watched her arraignment.... she seemed to understand EVERY ENGLISH word of the Arraignment !!!!!
You gotta hand it to atty shohorne (sp?), he tries and tries to sneak in anything to dilute the prosecutor’s arguments but thank goodness this case has the fairest and wisest judge! God bless you Judge Randolph.
Wth with FD bolting on errands every time they had company??
Anybody get a gander at foghorn leghorns shoes? 😂
😂😂😂 foghorn leghorn!!!!
This guy Hutch is like a Man child.
Omgosh yes. The pond description. 😂🙄 “ 2:49:51 there was heavy everything at the pond… our pond sacred ground to us.. the state come in w dogs, search w dogs and then they put a boat on water and go over the whole pond..w a boat! looking for a body. did fotis make the salad? did he make french fries? did he have a special french fry macHine..RELEVANCE ???????????? Hellooooooooo...sustained ! ( anything about chocolate bunnies?)
Lol
The defense is consistency, persistently out of bounds. He is annoying.
The pond dude is crying because they were looking for a missing mom? If it was his wife (that he didn’t murder), then maybe he would not cry about his sacred space being violated. The entitled rich are clueless.
GUILTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fotis is definitely unavailable.
Thoughts and prayers for waterski sacred pond man
The defense made huge mistake!the prosecution made their closure! Summarize was perfect
SURELY, you are kidding me ! Calling the hair stylist to the stand ??
Of course FD was optimistic about more time with his kids..He defense sure KNEW ( or thought) he'd be seeing much more of his kids with him getting J “ out of the way”! Defense is pathetic.
You're right FD was telling Michelle Traconis everything was fine, and she would be a mother of six, because he knew he was going to get Jennifer out of the way by killing her, and he would got full custody. FD was a total loser.
Thankful for the mute button during defense and witness..
0:50 kinda defensive witness, nobody said he didnt earn that money. Relax palboy
is Shoe HOrn trying to head towards the custody report? OOOPS, he just got shut down !
It was over 70° out the day she burned those fires and trust me nobody burns a fire in May in Connecticut
yep, they were toasting to Jennifer would be Gone !
SO, Fotis NEVER head enough MEAT!...?
I think defense lawyer is trying to win by boring jury to death.
If Fotis Dulos’ cherished dog was buried, did law enforcement check to see if Jennifer’s body was close by?
Agreed that would be a place of interest. Fotis had a way of disposing cherish-able items.
Yes, and today it's most common to have your pet cremated by the vet. Who digs a big hole and buries their large family pet themselves nowadays? Millionaires even less likely to do it themselves.
Well, the REaltor smiled and nodded at Shoe HOrn.... but in actuality, did him no favors !
His "windfall" was only $2 million .... that was the size of the trust for all five of the kids together... not a whole lot in comparison to how in debt he was... BUT, he probably would have "offed" Jennifer's mom next so that the kids would get their inheritance from her.
He knew Jennifer's wealthy parents would pay for everything for kids.even with Jen gone
That’s what I was thinking too.
Sadly, the police in Connecticut feel she was dismembered and that the bags that went to the dump first went right to the incinerator that's why they're pursuing her to the degree that they are not just because this woman was murdered, but because of the brutal reality of what these two people planned and executed on this innocent woman
Hutch didn’t seem happy to be there.
I thought the exact same thing! It sounds as though the wine was flowing during dinner and maybe Hutch’s wife partied a little too much.
The hairdresser is not very prepared
More like Horn didn’t prepare the witness
Her hair looked lovely.
He’s crying about the pond?
Root canal would be more pleasant than listening to Hutch.

wow she was motioning to witness I think
I noticed that too!

@@marissacarroll1786looks to me like she married up. Although the "husband" called her a fiancé....
Hey!!!! Good idea on the RUg and carrying a body !
@Genmore even in wealthy homes, the silverware needs to be removed from the plates, most people throw food down the disposal before putting it in the dishwasher...... do you know much about dishwashers?
"were the rugs spread out"[/....yo, that determines innocence !!
Right? Selling rugs makes you innocent … who knew ?
It was ego & pride & anger from a bad divorce. He didn’t want to lose. It’s sad
@DBS MT could teach the Rosetta Stone class...... this is all just a big facade !
The hair stylist is a witness lol nice witness
Oh horn please 🥱

What's so important about Fotis killing himself?
Doesn’t the death certificate include manner of death? I’m so confused!
Yes, homicide
Guilty
Where is the body has to be in the area of the homes Fotis owned
He dismembered her and put her in contractor bags, that's what the police think that she could have been in the bags that got picked up and went through the incinerator😢 very cruel 😢😢😢

Like Anna Walshe in Cohasset MA and her killer husband Brian. Incinerated garbage is processed quickly.
I know people who changed their name by legitimate means, to make it LOOK like they were married to their partner. Similarly, the ring
There is no way she gets convicted. I have not heard or seen 1 shred of evidence against her. She may well be guilty. I just feel like the evidence against her is extremely weak. Especially considering what the charges are.
Never ever say never never know what a jury is going to do. We shall see
I have watched every day of the trial. It is extremely rare to throw a case out.
