That 100% used to be the case. Now all the douche bag BMW 3 series (you know, the cheap one) drivers who thought they were special snowflakes are driving Tesla Model 3's (you know, the cheap one). Apparently we should be impressed by $40-50k cars? Doubly so when the soccer mom sitting beside them at a red light is diving a $100k+ luxury SUV? Or Joe Sixpack who's driving an $80k super duty pickup pulling a trailer with a $30k side by side on it to get away for the weekend?
I saw one yesterday where the landlord was the defendant, didn't have pictures and only her boyfriend who was her witness said it cost 600 bucks to clean. THEY WON. The plaintiff was more believable and the defendant was even caught lying about the witness being her boyfriend. JM needs to be consistent.
Has the plaintiff never owned a car? Over a month expired tags thinking he can go another few months riding with them expired. All he had to do was go back to dealership to get renewed temp tags until he could register the vehicle.
I don't have a problem with the tow, I have a problem with the damage caused by the tow. Just because you tow the vehicle, you are responsible for not damaging the vehicle. I have to wonder, how would the plaintiff have proven his case even with pictures? Pictures would have shown the damage, but as JM said, the damage could have happened the previous day.
I want to say well done to the plaintiff. The defendant will never let anyone slide in good faith again.
*plaintiff
"plaintive"? What?
That's true.
Never have I ever met a BMW owner who is not a complete douche.
Remember, even turn signals are optional. Especially as the BMW's weave lane to lane through traffic

Wow, the plaintiff was such a dope. He didn’t have anything ready. What was he thinking?
BMW owners are that way. They feel extra special
He probably lied
Yeah absolutely ridiculous! Who does he think he is? 🙄

Invalid or expired tags on a vehicle gives cause for the tow.
he never sued for tow, he sued for damage.
Not always.
@@kyoto320017:08 he was also suing for a vehicle inspection after the tow
I do not believe that is true on private property.
@AnikaBren unless it's stipulated in the enforcement clause in the contract
All court shows should be like the people’s court! It’s the only way! PERIOD!

9:27 is he trying to say tie-down hooks are special to BMWs, Porsches, Jaguar, etc? My Mazda has those 😅

Because they were pre-existing damage.

It’s different everywhere you live 😂
The judge said it first so I guess she’s a liar too?!
