I know this video is a couple years old now but this is an awesome little box. Just be careful to watch the polarity. The plug in will plug in both ways. I just blew one up by reversing the polarity. For $50 it's a great deal. If your motor is louder than this that's crazy.
Hello friend Great video. A question. In my truck CRX18 6WD is a combination esc and receiver , i dont want to change the electronics, so I was thinking of connecting the 3 wire plug of GT POWER speaker like tis way the signal to the positive, the neutral to the negative for the motor wires of the car and the ground just to grounding somewhere else in the car. Will it work this way? or will i do damage? I can't figure out what the black ground wire is for can you tell me? Thanks in advance.

Did you have to calibrate the controller? Mine won't calibrate and won't idle just sounds like your on throttle constantly... also doesn't shut off on its own... installing it on a CEN f450.
Yes I did have to calibrate the controller. I’m sure you’ve already seen the instructions in the manual if not it’s described on the front page of the manual.

Is there anything that I should be looking for to guarantee authenticity? I’d hate to get one that was cheaper but then it was either lower quality sound or didn’t have as many options
I’ve seen a few companies selling this exact model. My opinion is purchase the cheapest one especially since it’s from Amazon. If it’s not up to what you think it should be then return it.
The blue light should only flash until the car is paired to the transmitter. Also it needs to be plugged into channel 2 If that doesn’t work then you might have to try it with another rc before determining it defective

I haven’t tried moving it around yet but was strange me and my partner both have Redcat 79 Monte Carlo’s not much Romy so I have it sitting on top of the transmitter and it works great! He got his put in and as soon as it starts, it starts fine and goes into a high rev I got another one and stuck it in my Redcat 64 and it does the exact same thing starts fine, then goes into a high rev i’m running Lipo and he’s running Nimh they’re both plugged in the channel too, so I know that’s done, right and I can’t believe both of us got defective ones
Building a Bugatti with exciters and a JBL flip for amp board with Bluetooth engine sounds. I might just grab your same unit and run it through the JBL amp to push the exciter and two tweeters.
Can you fit something like this in my FIAT 500 so that it sounds like I have American V8 OR Renault V 10 under the bonnet as in roll in town.? Maybe you can run the sound via my sound system and speakers under the hood and at the exhaust.

Hello sir great installation video,just couple of questions. I can hear a consistent humming sound on the background while you were searching for the proper sound you like and while playing the sound you chose. When you turn off the unit for the day does the sound you choose will still be there the next time you turn the unit on again or you have to cycle again to locate your chosen sound effect. If somebody uses this soundsystem please open it up and inside should be a micro SD card and if is possible send me a link where I can download the whole file from the SD card bc I tried to read the SD card on my phone but all data got removed accidentally and now I can't use the soundsystem anymore bc all sounds got removed

No unfortunately I don’t think you’re able to add custom sounds to this one. I’ll have a look around and see if I can find one that does.

I have one i'm trying to install on a UDR - I have a continuous flashing blue light, any ideas? the car is on and works normal.
The blue light should only flash until the car is paired to the transmitter. Also it needs to be plugged into channel 2
If that doesn’t work then you might have to try it with another rc before determining it defective
Have you already done an update? I cannot connect to the computer via USB on mine.
No I have not checked to see if any updates are available. You would have to go to the GTPower website and look what’s available under downloads

I think they are somewhat water resistant, the case doesn’t really have any holes in it and I’m sure could be sealed up to make it waterproof

Hi thanks. The memory does keep your sound selection so once you power off and power back on the next time it still has your selection saved.
