Hello man, very nice video. Would you please check what is the gtx 300 GPH running that high? I already have the GTI 90, but thinking about getting a GTX 300, but worried about gas consumption. Would you post GPH for max and medium velocity of that jet? Thank you
Questions, I am about purchase a new RXT- X I don't race but IO like power when needed, but I have never owned 1 before, I have ridden them a few times, but I would like to know if there are any videos I should watch, Is there a special license needed? I live here in Florida / Melbourne any one would like to call me please do 9737141555
A question if I may , concerning the wake Pro and GTX ; We envisage doing lots of towing, possibly as we would have done with the RIB, (kneeboard with the smaller, younger lad, Wakeboard and three person sofa - Jobe Sea Esta !) Sadly, the new (fantastic) colours of the 2020 models are not yet available. So I’m looking at a 2019 SeaDoo model. My question is; are the “towing profiles“ on the wake pro worthwhile? (Brochure blurb; Five preset acceleration profiles make it easy to deliver a smooth launch and maintain consistent pace.) I’ve been offered good prices on a 2019 GTX 230 and alternatively, a 2019 Wake Pro 230. The problem is, that to collect the Wake Pro 230 it’s a 450 mile round trip! (and the nearby GTX has the BT audio !)
My understanding is that the 2019 non-Wake models have neither SKI mode or SLO mode, which both make towing extraordinarily easier to manage, and frankly, are a joy to use. Now people have been towing on PWC since 1977, so it's not impossible. If you must have a new Sea-Doo RIGHT NOW, then take the deal. But if you can wait a month, I'm sure the new '20 Wake Pro will be available.
Y'know when you see it in person it really does make a difference. We jokingly called it the "King Ranch Edition" Sea-Doo, but it does look really good.
Great review as always. What would your thoughts be on this beast if the water got a little rough out in the open - would it be up there with the Yamaha FX / Kawasaki’s. Beautiful ski and very practical.
It depends on what kind of "rough" we're talking about: Pacific swell? Windblown lake? Tropical south Atlantic? In testing, we had quite a bit of variants of chop and it managed well. If you go slow through the crap, it wanders and searches like a RXP-X. If you're in the throttle, it tracks true like a FX. Kawis are ENTIRELY unique because of their weight. It beats through chop like a battering ram. The FX and RXT slip over the surface.
Watercraft Journal probably the best description I’ve heard regarding the kawas lol. If I ride my fathers kawa 300 after my SHO it does feel like a battering ram - which is great for open ocean chop and the body. Thanks for the reply. Again - beautiful ski and thumbs up
Not at all! The Limited package (GTX Limited 230 and 300) gives you the Premium Sound as a standard feature, the "faux teak" traction mats, the storage bin divider nets, a PWC cover and the dry bag/case too.
@@watercraftjournal Dealer has demo, actually, used by owner of several dealerships...80 hours on it - he took a long intracoastal waterway trip. 2018. They are asking 12700 for it...out the door. Hmm. Well, we definitely recommend folks test ride the ST3 hull before buying it. It can be unpredictable and requires a lot of rider input and throttle control to ride in chop for some.
Nope. We say the biggest GLOVEBOX in the industry, making a joke that the ski's entire storage capacity is found in the central bin, which is effectively its glovebox. It's actually a considerably smaller amount of storage than the previous GTX/RTX models.
Super Magazin. Thanks a lot for sharing your videos. Very interesting an they keep me alive during the wintertimes ... I cant wait to get my new RXT X 300......
Really would find it helpful if you talked about performance, handling and ride.. All your reviews leave this info out and are disappointing. I can get all this info on the manufacturers website, we want real world reviews with seat of the pants feedback... Shit my salesperson can give me this info...
If I wanted to read an article I would buy a watercraft magazine, we look to video reviews for another reason.. Did a little construcrtive criticism hurt your feelings? Don't worry there are more review channels out there worth subscribing to...
No Pete, because we provide both video and written content. I understand reading comprehension is tough for some folks, such as yourself, so we try to make things a little easier. :D
Robert, we believe we answered this on another video. Yes, we did film a review on the RXT 230, but the quality is not as good as our two most recent on the new Sea-Doo lineup. Everything you need to know on these machines will be in these videos. There's truly NOTHING different in the RXT 230 review.
Thanks for sharing, great review kevin
Billy D
Thanks for the video. Getting mine on Monday
Great Review. Picking up mines this week. Can’t wait. It was a tough choice between the GTX limited x the RXT 300. The extras did it 4 me.
Certainly! Glad you liked the video.
Can you fit the rear seat in the front storage compartment?
We were told yes, it would fit but we stupidly forgot to try it for ourselves. When we get the chance we'll test fit it.
Getting my 2020 GTX 300 tomorrow! Hell yeah!
That’s awesome!
I like everything about this watercraft except the brown...seats. Don't like white either...
You sound pretty racist, bud.
I'm not talking about people just the color of the seats. I like blue though. Be careful with the racist comments though...
It's CLEARLY a joke.
Those 78 lbs will reappear once my fat ass gets on it thats for sure LMFAO!
But think about what it'd be like with those 78 extra pounds.

No clue nor do we have the proper instrumentation to correctly measure it. Thankfully, the powertrain is identical as the previous 300HP models.

Useful vide Kevin ... thanks
Our pleasure!
I was so againts the color scheme of this ski ( especially the seat ) but its starting to grow on me.

Whats that la ke in the back ground?
This footage was taken at Lake Havasu and the Colorado River.
How fast were you able to go with the 230?
We clocked 68.2mph (with the current) on 6"-to-1-foot surface.
Watercraft Journal I pick up my 2018 GTX 230 4-7-18. Can’t wait. 68.2 will be plenty fast.
Nice review. Subscribed.
Thank you!
The coolers for this new nifty link system cost 270.00...................thats just for a cooler.
That's chump change for those YETI guys.
I just picked up the gtx230 with sounds. Is the only difference the color scheme between the regular and the limited?
Not at all! The Limited package (GTX Limited 230 and 300) gives you the Premium Sound as a standard feature, the "faux teak" traction mats, the storage bin divider nets, a PWC cover and the dry bag/case too.
I almost laughed when I saw you take a water bottle out of the cooler
Because it was almost funny.
Watercraft Journal very true
Watercraft Journal very true
is this the same hull as the Fish Pro?
Yes. It's called the "ST3."

The same as all of 'em, 68mph
Great video, thanks a lot! you talk about the ''biggest storage in the industry'' but my 2016 GTX300 got 162L and this one got 102.5L on paper?

Aaah oke hahaha i got it!
How many miles can you ride on it on a full tank?
Until it runs out.
Great review - thanks for the video.
Thank you!
I realize I am kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good place to stream new movies online?
@Ernest Zavier Flixportal :P
@Jeremy Braxton thanks, I signed up and it seems like a nice service :D Appreciate it!!
@Ernest Zavier Happy to help =)
What better of the new 2018 seadoo? Rxtx300, gtx, etc? I like the new hull designs, looks like it cuts through water a lot easier or smoother
Literally watch our videos and read our articles and you'll find out.
Watercraft Journal i did. But hulls looks quite similar. But in power and speed, i know their limited to 69mph.
We explain the hull differences in quite some detail. The 300HP ST3 is faster (0-30 and 30-60) than the previous S3 and T3 hulls.

Yea you did.. lol. Saw yall had posted this and didnt knw if you had replied on the previous. Thanks though!
Ride comfort wise. What do you prefer? The gtx 300 or the Yamaha fx svho?
Ergonomically, the Sea-Doo is FAR superior. Ride-wise, the Yamaha is a better hull.
