Saying that entertainment does not help anyone is very degrading. If all forms of entertainment, movies, shows, sports, etc. were taken away, life would be less enjoyable. I would think bringing joy to someone's life is huge especially given the fact that they are doing it for millions. Some people might even go so far to say that it is the purpose of their life. People probably spend the most time entertaining themselves, their friends and family, behind sleep and working. Because of him, there are young kids who are probably deciding to eat better, exercise, and actually work towards something. I personally think that there are several jobs that are pointless but entertainment is not one of them. Shakespeare was an entertainer.
