Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Lmao every time I hear “the dark days of Marvel Legends” I can’t help but chuckle. It was NOT a good time be a Marvel Legends collector lol. It’s pretty amazing how far Hasbro has come.

I don't know what you're hung up on Shart, that Sasquatch is pretty dang awesome, and I have the standard Toy Biz, the White variant and the ancient 5" inch Alpha Flight two pack version. There's always room for another Squatch in my collection!
BTW, I think Deathlok is the gem of this wave.

Hasbro will probably scale down this body mold and change a couple of parts and make it a Beast figure.
They already have a perfect Beast mold though, it's called Jackal.

Yeah, that buck is a tad scrawny for Beast, but would make a killer buck for Werewolf by Night or Man Wolf
Well which Beast are you going for then? Because the Beast in my Uncanny X-Men Omnibuses would be just fine with Jackal's body.
Marcos Kain he might be okay for an early ‘70s Beast, but most would prefer a bit more beef.
Cant wait for BBTS to put up the new Xmen Apocalypse BAF set with Tiger stripe Wolvie. I still need this and Lizard BAF set for currently available series, but going to jump the line for Tiger stripe.
I personally think that the old sansquatch figure is shit and tbh the only thing that would keep me from throwing it out would be sentimental value

The toy biz white variant of Sasquatch is actually snowbird in her Sasquatch form so there is another marvel legends alpha flight member. I learned this knowledge from the marvel legend himself Glenn webb

I have 2 of the old toy biz ones that i repainted and i like them alot better for looks and possibilities plus the hands you can poss the fingers how you want 2 which is awesome

I think the Sasquatch body would be perfect for beast if it had shorts as the bottom torso and if it had a shorter body probably almost the same bulkiness and a new head sculpt.

My 1st full wave. I love Deadpool, so I felt I should get it. The BAF is a cool figure but I put it on ebay since I have no attachment to him, but wanted 5 out of 7 figures from the wave.
My top- Cable, Deadpool, Domino, X-Force Deadpool, X-23, Deathlok, Paladin, Sasquatch. Your review convinced me to keep Deathlok and remember his 90's goodness... him, Darkhawk, Ghost Rider in those Spider-Man comics.

I would put sasquatch at the bottom then deathlock, then palodin, then x-23, then domino, then cable, then x-force deadpool, then the regular deadpool.
The ML Sasquatch is way better than the TB one. I think you're hatin a lil bit here.

I am a dedicated subscribed fan. I have around half the wave. Red deadpool deathlok domino in hand and X23 coming in the mail, dude so far the red deadpool is tops. Great articulation ya just got to add some third party weapons from marauder's gun runners. Great wave and not a bad Sasquatch figure. Although I do agree I'd of rather seen someone else get a BAF, like a comic book Executioner. My enchantress is lonely... Great channel dooder!! Keep it up. Love them toys!!!
I still don't understand why a Deadpool/X-Force wave had _Sasquach_ as its BAF. They could've given us Warpath. Apocalypse. Stryfe... Anyone. Why Sasquach? Why?
Tushar Raj Probably for the same reasons Shartimus shares. He didn't really want an upgrade from the old one, but Hasbro still needs to deliver an update to some not really wanted characters, so what they do? They give us a character not everybody needs at all in a wave that may actually sell well. Probably like what happened to the Mantis wave. Not everybody wanted a second Gamora, Rocket, etc. But they had to buy them for mantis. If death's head had been the BaF nobody would have bought that wave.

Hi Aaron. What you say does make sense. However, most waves I've seen are thematically connected with a possible larger build-a-figure that fits into the theme. It's excusable to give a random BAF when you're out of ideas for a particular theme, and I guess they could use that opportunity to sneak in an updated figure like you said. But when you release an X-Force wave, there are so many ideas. We haven't seen a decent X-Force Warpath in years AFAIK, and any X-Force lineup looks incomplete without him. Hell, they could've updated the X-Force Wolverine. Or given us a tiny new X-Force Wolfsbane with interchangable parts. But no, they have to go with this ugly-ass monstrosity nobody asked for.

I have the feeling that Hasbro may used the face sculpt, replace the hair part for a new hair, and we may have Beast. I wouldn't mind if that's the case, just give me that beast...

We definitely have different opinions on the figures. X-23 is what I list as the 2nd least liked figure in the entire series
My rankings go 1. Paladin, 2. Sasquatch 3. Deathlok(yes I have him already, but sttill a great figure, and a character I actually like) 4. Cable (good figure) after this the rest of the figures only exist for me for the build a figure.. 5. Domino.. 6 Deadpool(just to be a completist, and it's at least a decent figure)... . X-23 and White Deadpool....neither of which are figures at any point in time I said "I want"....
The thing that I'm looking for, is comic accurate representation of characters I don't have yet, that I like for one reason or another... So if someone produced a Chance figure(Spider-man bad guy) or Cardiac or Slyde or Nomad(I would kill for both a Rikki and two versions of the Jack Monroe one) Diamondback (Cap's ex-girlfriend) it's going to automatically be more liked than another Wolverine/Iron Man or current spider man wannabee. (and yes I'm Jealous of that Puck figure)

Hey! Thing is only about 5'10" to 6'. Sasquatch is 10'! Thing should not be anywhere near his shoulder. Cable's is THE figure to get from this wave. X-23 to follow. So i concor.
Impressed by this BAF but also completely apathetic to the character that I have no interest in building this.
Hes also from Vancouver, British Columbia (Fuck yeah, province pride!) and was one of the mascots for the 2010 winter olympics.... Ok not really, but Quatchi was close.
Also Deathlok is undersized as well he is 7'2" Cable is 6'8" he should have been taller than Cable they couldn't even get that right maybe Marvel Select will make a Deathlok and since there a 7" inch scale he will fit better.
It would be interesting to see a Marvel Select take on this figure.

I like both figures but to me , the HASBRO one looks like a prototype with the deco paint not finished. Its not a bad BAF, but the lack of paint makes me feel like its incomplete.

Hulk and Sas are not the same size. Sas is taller and more body mass. The size comparison of Thing and Sas was just about right I believe from the early comics. They at Hasbro should have made Sas a little taller. I would prefer two open clawing hands instead of a closed fisted alternate.
