HOMEMADE BUKO PIE EASY RECIPE

BUKO PIE is a traditional Filipino baked young-coconut (malauhog) custard pie. It is considered a specialty in the city of Los Baños, Laguna located on the island of Luzon. ... Instead, the pie uses sweetened condensed milk, which makes it denser. The pie is made with buko meat.
INGREDIENTS
CRUST
500 grms flour
½ cup sugar
¼ cup sugar
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup water
100 grms lard
FILLING
Buko meat (6pcs) tender
½ cup sugar
1 cup cornstarch
¾ cup powdered milk
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
500ml water
