Oh you Brits do love your ghosties! As a descendent of the Willoughby family (though from a second son who emigrated to the colonies in 1620) I loved seeing Wollaton Hall in 2013. Don’t remember any ghost stories told about the house, and haven’t read any in books I got about the Willoughbys and Wollaton. But sure it’s a good yarn. The house needs a lot of restoration and continual maintenance so some ghost tours might be a revenue source. Highly recommend a visit and historical tour to anyone who can go.
