I have one eyebrow that's perfectly shaped and arched and I have no problems with, and the other it almost COMPLETELY straight across and won't arch at all. It's honestly so aggravating, not to mention that I over plucked it last year to try and make an arch.

My natural eyebrows are already looking like this and kids were making fun of me when I was in primary school because I'm and asian and they are so black and thick but my skin is fair, so it makes a really strong appearance on my face. Now those girls are the one posting on instagram about how on fleek their eyebrows are.
omg yes, I've thick black brows which are shaped very nicely indeed (i love the arch of my brow!)
But before i was so embarrassed because i thought that very thin and extremely arched brows are best and mine were dull.
But now the fashion trend has changed and i love it
OMG that's EXACTLY like me except I'm not asian. Though I still hate my thick black eyebrows...😑
+Nelly L Im asian aswell but instead of saying 'they are so black' try darker skinned, as some others may think your racis(which Im not saying you are). You can be very pale and have good eyebrows your skin colour doesnt change your eyebrows shape or colour. Most asians have light coloured eyebrows so..

Both my eyebrows are SO different. One of them is thick and higher up, the other is thin and straight across. I am very very tired of crying in frustration because I feel so ugly. On top of that my eyebrows are more round than squared in the inner eyebrow.💔

+VeryDeepChild LA Same, i got them waxed a bunch of times and i kept plucking them and i am currently waiting for the entire top part to grow back so i just fill them in.
there are tons of tutorials on how to determine your eyebrow shape but I don't think I've ever seen one like yours-which is a very good way so I am definitely going to try this technique-now for some advice to younger ladies-Im 56 & I too plucked too much when I was younger & not only is it hard to grow em back but as you get older the ability diminishes so keep your brows ladies-keep em neat & take care of them as well as your lashes by applying coconut,vitamin e or avocado oil at night-time little things you can start doing now will make such a big difference in how you age later. Take care ladies!!!

I have very long haired, dark, bushy thick eyebrows. You will see them and think if i have applied black eye pencil over them. They also naturally have perfectly arched shaped since i was a kid. I love them very much but sometimes i want to make them thin, more defined and neat.

Excellent job. I have pulled up so many of the tutorials on shaping the perfect eyebrow. You are the first to explain how they should be aligned, using the nose as a base point. That really helps. Many of us amateurs have no idea what we are doing, but we want to look good. That really helps! Explaining how the arch, can be achieved, is also very helpful, and how to fill everything in. It seems that even though, one may have black brows, you are using browns. Are browns less harsh? Please explain, if you would, and thanks so much.
+debbie freiden I use brown to match my hair! You can use whichever color you prefer, I suggest matching your hair color (on your head) :)

stumbled across this video as I've recently grown my eyebrows back after drawing them in for 10 years ( an accident left me with sparse eyebrows) and the tips for how you drew the points was what I used to draw in a border for how I wanted my brows shaped. I plucked any hairs outside the borders I drew and now my eyebrows look amazing! thanks for the easy step by step. works great for plucking the right shape

So, I've been struggling with grooming and filling in my brows for like months. I've tried multiple techniques but it never helped me achieved a natural fuller brow, until I came across this video. I tried your technique plus a bit of concealer yesterday and for the first time my brows actually looked alike and on fleek! This technique helped me alot and I just wanna say thank you! What color should I use for VERY BLACK eyebrow hair? I have used the darkest brown and it just doesn't look good or natural. Black always makes my eyebrows look too thick. Help please?
Try Anastasia brow wiz in Granite. It is a soft black. Also the Ebony dip brow might work!

maybe you should use dark brown/ brown for the part closest to your nose, and black for the end part and just blend them .
try lightening your brows. sally hansen has one. it works and brows look so much better.

Thank you so much! I can't tell you enough what a huge help this was. I was an idiot and plucked my eyebrows at one of the worst times - I had surgery and was on pain meds. When my meds kicked in, I got a "wild hair" and decided to pluck my beautifully shaped eyebrows. Since then, I haven't been able to find where they should start, where my arch should be and where to end my brow. I had plucked them THAT bad, LoL. Now, I'm going to reshape my eyebrows using this technique. Thanks again for your help :)
Would you recommend this to a 20yo guy? We have similar eyebrow shape (though mine goes parallel to the ground and then curls down) and I've been meaning to make my eyebrows prettier. Would this look great on a guy?

I overplucked my eyebrows for years so they're super thin and naturally they're horribly uneven and the hair grows weird so I've always had a hard time shaping them but I just did this and they look so much better. +Tammy Becker You can use a colored brow mascara! NYX and Anastasia have some available. It can darken and thicken the hair.

+Emma Dexter Hey Emma, it usually takes patience to grow your eyebrows. I generally use Vaseline and apply it to my eyebrows every night before i get to bed. It helps but it takes a while, you tend to see results after a month or so xx

my left eyebrow starts more squared (naturally) and ends in a nice shape meanwhile my right eyebrow stars rounded (naturally) and is super thin with no visible arch near the end. I hope I make sense but I really need help 😩😹
