I just love hanging out with you two. It’s the craziest thing that, while I don’t know you-I know you-and I look so forward to stitching while I listen to you two chatter away-it really makes my day. So, thanks for that! I went to my local craft shop the other day, all the while, trying to imagine my shameful box of sad finishes that are crying to be made into something amazing. Hmmmm, I thought to myself....how would Pricilla and Chelsea finish this? I got some cool stuff that I am excited to work up and share on my first floss tube next month. So, thanks for that too! Please keep stitching, keep showing finishes and keep being so much fun to share all this craziness with!

Another great video Chelsea and Priscilla. Thank you for sharing your talents. You inspired us to go to Joanne's and select Christmas fabric with my daughter to stitch a quilt. Next time she is home, we are going to start it. She lives 2 hours away. Almost done with Lantern, probably next Sunday will be finished. Can't wait to see the selection for the winter SAL!!! Have a great week!

I have really been enjoying your videos! My older friend who taught me to quilt used the tying method of finishing, but called them comforts. I cheated on a small tree quilt and put it on a piece of foamcore with batting and hung it on the wall! Keep up the good work.

You can use Thangles for half square triangles! They are made from paper. You sew right on the paper and then take the paper off and you have perfect half square triangles! They come in many different sizes. Quilt stores carry them and Amazon as well. You will love them!! ❤

You two are so much fun. Can't wait to see what the winter stitching piece is. Maybe, to simplify the tags, they should all be #pc (then whatever the theme is) so like #pclanternlane #pchometownholidays #pcsantasunday #pcwintersal . Just an idea. But it keeps all the Priscilla and Chelsea sals together. My lantern lane stuff and hometown holiday stuff is out for delivery right now. I cannot wait! Looking forward to the next video. Enjoy Halloween. Priscilla, those pumpkins look amazing! I barely have the patience to carve one pumpkin. lol. Happy stitching!

There's a really easy way to make half square triangles. Cut 2 sqs the same size, and sew in 1/4" the whole way around the square, right sides together. Then lay your ruler from corner to corner and cut across (2 cuts), this will give you 4 half square triangles! You can experiment w/ different sizes to get the size you are looking for. Have fun!

Hi just love all finishes. Thanks for the idea for the Halloween quilt. I made two,! I have a waking foot and it is a good investment because all your straight stitching for quilting it will feed in evenly. Especially if you want to make a few more quilts. You made all those cookies ! WOW I'll tag you on instagram when I finish the binding. I usually do that by hand. That takes the longest.

You two make me smile. I look forward to your videos each week. You both have inspired me to start stitching again after a thirty-five year hiatus. I have always stitched on aida and I’m wanting to try linen. What count would you suggest for a first timer. I have been stitching on eighteen count. As far as the winter SAL goes, I think it would be appropriate to start it on Chelsea’s birthday. Priscilla, I purchased your chalk for the home autumn pattern and want to purchase the other two. I think they are just amazing. The chalkboard drawing that you did would make a wonderful cross stitch pattern in my opinion. Have a great week and happy stitching and quilting.

You always brighten my day! Love those shirts, and your sweet furballs ( mine would have been on those cookies in a heartbeat!) The quilts look lovely. I used to struggle with straight lines and a walking foot but my pieces more often looked like the surface of a windy lake, and I had to invent watery names for them. Now I drop the feed dogs and go commando, never go in straight lines, meander everywhere and even commit the crime of crossing a line when I sew myself into a corner. I have no pride, but my quilt tops are finally finished!

You should look up the midnight quilting show here on UA-cam. It’s a craftsy show, she shows how she does a bunch of different style quilts. I also watch the Missouri quilting company. I’ve never made a quilt since I don’t have a sewing machine that works, but I have certainly done my research for when I can. I did the same before starting cross stitch. 😂

Your Christmas quilts are so pretty! Love red! You are inspiring me to dust off my sewing machine and get quilting again! Walmart sells a 'quilt basting spray' that works really well at keeping your layers together. (maybe somebody already told you that...) I get the cheapest kind and spray my backing, layer the batting, and spray that and layer the top. Then I pin-baste (large safety pins, placing them outside my quilting line so my needle won't hit them). The more your layers are stabilized, the less chance they will shift and the combination of the spray baste and the pins lessens the need of a walking foot (just my opinion and experience, I hope you don't mind the tips!) It does take a little time to do those extra steps but I find it's worth it to me in the end...happy sewing and stitching!!! : )

From Glen and Jen in Tenn. Questions after our coffee tea dye tasks in which all look one color and are not "aged" enough.
    1. Do you "cook" fabric in a pot on the stove top or do you soak it in the coffee-tea liquid, squeeze out, and "bake" in the oven?
    2. Do you use instant coffee and tea, or do you brew the tea and coffee?
    3. Do you cut some of the pieces of Monoco into smaller sizes before you "cook/bake" them or leave it as one big piece and fold it on a cookie sheet if baked?
    4. Do you go back and smudge up sections with wet coffee to get the mottled effects during the "cooking/baking" or after ?
    5. Do you rinse out the coffee/tea before "cooking/baking" or after "cooking/baking"?
