thank you so much for sharing what you know.
Hi Dmitry, thank you for your great work. I've learned a lot from your tutorials.
Maybe you can prepare some comprehensive tutorial - how to not being flooded by Zabbix notifications and find real source of problem easily?
I've tuned Zabbix a little bit to be less nervous (alert after 3-5 fails instead of 1, similar for tcp checks, like http) but still, where something fails, like router or switch behind there are monitored hosts, I'm flooded with a lot of notifications, like service unavailable, then agent and host unavailable. I do not expect to have only one notification for such situation, but, for example only few "host unavailable by icmp and agent" will be enough to know that something is wrong.
Is there any (easy) way to do it? Or I have to create a lot of triggers and dependent checks?
Now I'm on Zabbix 5.4 (still new, at it was installed to have SMART monitoring done easily).
Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.
beautiful
Danke.
How to monitor the state of the services? Is there any working template to discove and add items and triggers for the systemd services?
Can you please share the Video with Linux custom service monitoring ? Thanks
It is possible to configure monitoring for remote servers?
Hello brother im installed zabbix 5.0 in ubuntu 20.04 lts version
Im facing a problem when im adding a vcenter it is showing ssl connection error in discovery status box
Please help me on this case
Hello Dmitry, Thank your for your video..I am getting error ---Unavailable by ICMP ping-- Can you please assist me?
i want to montoring EC2 present in aws and my zabix proxy is also in AWS same account how can i monitor that
hii, can you monitoring the servers witouth the agent? using only ssh?
Yes, agent is only one way to monitor from 10+ ways
What happens if the hostnames don't match between server and agent config? I've had no problems like this.
New to Zabbix. Is there a way to have a dashboard that will display multiple systems on a single pane of glass?
Sure, you can add whatever systems you want to dashboards. In 7.0 it' s gonna be even better
@@DmitryLambert I'm def gonna have to play around with this...hoping there's a docker container for the server. I've got tons of raspberry pi devices out in the wild doing things. It'd be nice to see all these systems/uptimes on one screen.
@@pattygq You need an agent for that, not server. And yes there are docker containers for all components. I have a video about that, you can search in my channel
I have setup the Zabbix server on Linux and need to edit the Storage template and set the alert 100GB
Good luck with that
Hey, How are you ? When I try start the service, using systemctl start zabbix-agent he send the message: Failed to start zabbix-agent: unit zabbix-agent not found
probably some typo in the config file.
Try just typing " zabbix-agent " in console, it should show more meaningful error
