Why don't gold sellers go direct to the bullion buyers?

David wrong again poor bloke with the tea caddy off to auction because he was told he should get 150 with dealer offer 85 and went home with under 50. What's the point having experts on the show if David can just disagree with them and end up losing people money because he's out of touch not been a dealer anymore and just tv host racking in the money

It was the owners choice he wanted more than the dealer offered and could have set his reserve higher and should have.

The seller was the idiot. David told him to put a reserve of £150 for it as it was worth that...if it didn't sell for that , then take it home and enjoy it. Nobody told him to put it at a reserve of £60. Actually David was merely telling him the worth of the product. Even the dealer agreed the price was poor for something so nice , so on this occasion I believe you're opinion is harsh.
