Yes, we can have an impact, if pushing back on policy, demonstrating etc, but most people are oppressed and their values amd votes are not represented. I mean, in many countries people have tried to oppose their governments but they end up jailed and excecuted, or flee. And in the west, votes are exchanged for lobby free market

Without the work of Motaz, we would not have seen the atrocities committed by Israel. His photos are heart-wrenching and difficult to look at, but they are the truth of what Israel is doing to the Palestinian people.

These media companies have pressure internally to do more. Yalda Hakim has covered Afghanistan as a BBC journalist (where she is from). However, the people in charge control output and where it's shown, such as on the big shows and channels, and keep other content more obscurely online. However, nonetheless, it shows that pressure is telling but nowhere near enough and sadly too late for so many, as Motaz says.

Kibbutzim are not settlements, they all were on the Israeli side and part of the undisputed Israeli territory since 1948. 🤦🏽♂
I read the comments and wonder what people know of history. Obviously little to none. People who are not "use' to war are shocked by this, but to those who are, it's just another day. This happens all around the world at different times of the calendar. War is never good or welcome, but because there are humans walking the Earth that are pure evil, war has to happen. but the hate doesn't occur in a vacuum. If 750,000 people are displaced from where they live (the Nakba, which Israel used to deny ever happened) whether that's for good/bad/complicated reasons (pick whichever suits your narrative) that isn't going to play out well and it hasn't.
I've enjoyed following the ASK project. Among the most telling interviews was with an illegal settler who didn't dress the thing up with fancy justifications but said it was conquest pure and simple and if they don't like it they (the Palestinians) can fight back. Atleast she was honest.
