It didn't seem right to leave a "like" on this but I appreciate that you went out there to record what happened. I hope everyone's OK and the cleanup is as quick as possible. Stay safe.
The infants school here in Chirk has lost its roof. I’m more concerned for our fans travelling home. It’s getting tasty out there. Roads closed all around us.
Situation worsening in Wrexham too. I can see us having power cuts and by the Parish church the river is about to burst I think. I heard all outlying areas are getting cut off around Wrexham. The fans need to be careful. I was supposed to go but we decided against it.
The weather is shocking isn't it? Hope you were not in the Ramada last night with the noisy marquee they had going in the middle of a storm. Where do you need to get to? There might be buses but it is Sunday service so they might be reduced. There might be trains going in the Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton direction.
@@WrexhamAFCfanzone I got a train out of Crew. Thankfully I met a lovely Wrexham supporter who has kindly agreed to drive me to Crew. This has been quite the adventure for sure! I hope the next time I am in town (there will be a next time) the weather will be a bit more ‘sunny’.
@@WrexhamAFCfanzone I’ll take your word for it. Everyone who I have met has been friendly and welcoming. A great visit, regardless of the horrific storm.
Stay safe and as politely as I can put this. Even if Wrexham had an enclosed stadium. Screw the game! Stay home, I respect playing or watching an event in foul weather, but flooding and continued rains? Let the police and emergency services focus on the weather issues and not a sporting event.
😲Wait? What? Gameplay went ahead in weather like this and Wrexham won! Katie Hopkins is right! Really is bats**t bonkers overthere! 😂Nothing but mad respect from this side of the Atlantic!👍
Katie Hopkins is a real witch LOL I wouldn't go by anything she says to be honest. She is a grifter and spews out views she knows will feed her ego and bank balance.
I’m watching the Wrexham game right now live, and the announcer just said, he just looked it up and Wrexham is a city. You told me it’s a town. Which is it?
@@WrexhamAFCfanzone Best wishes from a Man City fan. Are things still OK for you. Hate heavy rain was flooded by River Ribble in 2015 drains couldn't cope. 😬

Thanks, Eric. It is still gusting outside this morning and only set to improve after midnight tonight.
@WrexhamAFCfanzone good luck and good wishes to everyone there
Thanks Eric.
Stay safe everyone!
We will here . It’s the travelling fans who are going to hit it coming back.
@@WrexhamAFCfanzone Yep ... I'm including the traveling fans in the 'everyone'; those winds look intense!
I hope Anne who is over from Canada is ok. She was going to Burton today too
@@WrexhamAFCfanzone Canadians can handle weather!
So I hear. Their winters sound rough.
Hope everybody is alright out there. Good thing the game is somewhere else. Thank you for showing us.
Hopefully it won’t head your way, Frans.
@@WrexhamAFCfanzone It is raining very hard out here. But luckyly I don't have to go out. And scenes like in the video I haven't seen here since 1953.
So you might be lucky and avoid it in 🇳🇱 Holland. Hope you have a nice evening.
Stay safe. Groningen send positive vibes
Cheers mate.

@ the two bridges by Chirk closed. Chirk flooded. Which is weird as we’re on a hill. It’s grim.
Big trees by us looking scary atm. If they fall they better fall opposite direction
I survived! And we won! Now to try and get out of town tomorrow when the trains have been cancelled…..

Good news! As for the weather, yeah it looks a lot better here in the summer plus we don't have weather like this usually.

Everyone who visits here says the same about the people., That is why a lot come back time and time again. Next time you will have to see home match.
i know someone who lives in Wrexham
So do I LOL, small world.

The fanzone is being battered as we speak plus a tree come down by the tech end stand.
Thank you for going out and documenting the situation sir, but you and your family get somewhere safe and stay there!
Safe indoors listening to the wind. 💨 Game was frustrating. I know weather played a part but it was not a great performance again.

Council made it a city nobody wanted. We still call it town.
@@WrexhamAFCfanzone crazy. What’s the population?
135,000 . We are a large town. No way a city.
@ that’s not a city
Even Ryan and Rob still say town 🤣
no drone today!
Not a chance mate haha
I wonder why? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 sarcasm here! Stay safe
Tommy, you never mentioned this. Did you know it was coming?
Yes. The worse of it is due later on 2 big trees outside our house are swaying like mad. We still have power but some parts of Wrexham have none.
@ I understand this sucks for you, but honestly, it’s no hurricane. I didn’t know if my son was dead or alive for 3 days.
Yeah I know but we are not prepared for this. BTW the Wrexham fanzone has been pummelled by the wind and a tree has come down on a floodlight.
@ that sucks

Good thing the game is away today. I have it on now. They’re coming out of the tunnel.
Getting worse here. The fans will struggle coming back.
