First time I am watching on YT, man is it good too see what you guys look like. I started to form a very complete picture in my head, but you guys are much more handsome.
I started doing this recently and I love it! On several occasions I drank beer the night before an endurance race and when I wasn't performing well, my mind went straight to thinking that I drink too much beer.
A little late to the party. Association of Finnish micro breweries sponsored a master's thesis about beer and the conclusions were that beer has: "Almost perfect mineral profile for recovery". With added benefits from carbs and vitamins. Still I do not think it was post and pre competition non alcoholic beer that I thank for placing well at Nordic recumbent bike championships. BTW it is common for cyclists to drink beer after a ride here in Europe too. I just do not know if it is more common in the US or Europe. There are better na beers than Lagunitas hop or Brewdog Nanny State FYI. Keep on experimenting because tastes vary and no single beer may be best for everyone.
I find it interesting that Chad has stated (8:00) dietary cholesterol is bad for performance and health but never recommends avoiding it (animal products) or mentions that it is the reason for arterial plaque build up.
Guinness are releasing theres this Monday can't wait to try it!! I won't ever touch a alcoholic beer again 4 weeks clean and don't miss it at all I'm 35 now and minds never felt so good

Erdinger non-alcoholic is pretty good and they sponsor about half the endurance events in Germany

I tried the Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher based on your recommendation. It's by far the best non-alcoholic style beverage I've ever tasted!

Unrelated but non alcoholic beer is fantastic for recovering alcoholics. (Can be, I don’t mean it definitely is)
DEFINITELY! So many great options out there now, too!
