Yeah I have to agree I've been extremely impressed with how strong active noise cancellation is on some of the latest offerings from soundcore, 1more. Especially at lower price points now. You do not need to drop 250 to $300 to get quality active noise cancellation anymore.

I thought ANC with in-ears peaked and reached it's limit, but I was so wrong these and a few others I've recently covered have amazing ANC for in-ears. So good to see we are still getting improvements are for a decent price so we don't have to spend $200+

@@Techtablets This is my first ANC buds and I'm glad I waited for the bugs to be ironed out. I am genuinely impressed at how good these sound even with ANC turned up to max and just walking around listening to music or podcasts. Taking them out after an hour really shows how much environmental noise we are constantly exposed to living in a city!

I bought one of these last week. They're really good for the price. I dont understand how they have the battery life they do, but they seem to be pretty accurate vs the specs. I especially like the HearID auto eq since my hearing is ... not great in certain freqs but the HearID had a really natural sound to me.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Рік тому

Yes the HearID is a great feature and the battery life is a bit less than claimed when running ANC. Clearly to me the figures quote are with ANC off of course which is what all companies do.

Between the a40, Jabra Elite 75t and galaxy buds 2 I think the ANC is pretty close for all 3 but the edge goes to the Soundcore space a40 along with sound. The buds 2 picks up wind sound faster to stop it but the buds 2 fall out while you're standing still and the galaxy & Jabra are $50 more. Soundcore makes great products for a really good price.

I've had a pair of those for a couple of months now. It's my first eardbuds and I have to say that those are amazing. I've been searching for a second pair but it's difficult to find something as good and as cheap. You cannot find something like those earbuds if you're not willing to pay 2, maybe 3 times more. I think the best move is to buy another soundcore anker a40.
But for real, the noise canceling is amazing, great battery life and battery charging time. The only downside is that it cannot pair with more than 2 devices (but I think I'm asking for too much).

Hey thanks for the review Chris.
    1. Can you sleep with them sideways on a pillow without activating the touch buttons?
    2. I do use the soundcore app and I don't register and it works fine!.I guess you missed the skip or close button.
    3. Also I guess most soundcore products have a nice feature, where in if you give it a equalizer it stays on the hardware and you can shift device and it need not have the app and the eq still remains same. Surprisingly some tws don't have that.

Yeah bit of a money grab basically the same product! Still I'm keen to hear how they sound and the mics. I have 2 pair and I just got them about 2 weeks ago. My Galaxy Buds 2 did the same thing my buds and buds+ did which is they got really quiet and I couldn't find a way to fix the issue, the buds 2 only lasted 2 months before I had to start using my Jabra Elite 75t which were great!! The problem with those is you need the right earbud in for the left earbud to work and when getting off the subway the right side fell out and I couldn't find it after the crowd passed by. So I ordered 2 pair of these space a40's to use with my Galaxy A53 5g. I really do like them. My only complaint is I thought they had a fin (like on the galaxy buds and galaxy buds+) so they stay in place but no such luck.

Second, i NEED YOUR ADVICE (or someone from the comments)! I can't decide if i should buy these a40's or Soundcore Life A2 NC. I am worried about two things: 1) The bass that you mentioned, i can't figure out what that means without hearing them (i might even like them that way), and 2) I will use them in the gym (one of the reasons i'm buying these), and not really sure if they will fall out of the ears during a regular workout? I have spear fins from my previous dot2 earphones, so those might fit also. Either way, hope you'll see this in time, and thank you in any case :)

I always get so confused when people talk about noise cancellation, are they talking about cancelling background noise to your own ears, or cancelling background noise on the mic for the person's benefit on the other end ? I am desperate to find earbuds with a mic on that cancels out TV noise. I watch movies in-sync with friends, so we chat and watch, and we still use an ancient 2006 Xbox 360 wireless bluetooth (v2.0) headset because unless there is an explosion or gunshot on the TV there is zero background noise heard for us. There is a tiny drawback to that as it clearly cancels ALL noise unless a person is speaking, so sometimes I miss the very first part of a sentence as the mic has to kick in when the person talks and sometimes it can be a tad slow. But generally speaking the 360 wireless headset is excellent, I want the same type of cancellation but for my Android phone. It HAS to be earbud style as we have kids so can't immerse ourselves in closed headphones as we need to hear around us.

Samsung Galaxy Buds2 with contact pins exposed to the skin inside the ears can cause inflammation exactly where the pins are located.

@@Techtablets My son got it quite badly. There was blood oozing from the two spots, and then it took weeks to heal. Here in Singapore you can buy new or almost new Buds2 for 1/3 of their original price.
There was a class action lawsuit. Samsung apparently refunds customers in the US because of this issue. They don't admit the problem, rather want to keep things low profile, so it seems.
Would be interesting to know if it is the metal used, or if there is a low current present.

2 times here ✋🏼 I just decided to go for the refund because I wouldn't trust them a 3rd time. Sound cuts and the person on the other side reports a robotic voice. The sound cuts out and there is interference when listening to content on youtube, podcasts or music on computer. I also encountered significant discomfort in my ears, which I would describe as a sensation similar to being "electrocuted" or "burned." Initially, I dismissed it as a minor inconvenience, but I noticed the discomfort occurring repeatedly. They look so nice and when they work which is 40% of the times (to listen to music on a phone) it is quality sound. It is sad, they seemed promising.

So if anyone here got the answer, I'm interested to know !
