SUMMARY:
- Always read the label first before choosing a brand. It shouldn’t contain any flavoring agents, corn, or GMOs.
- Don’t neglect regular visits to the vet, even if your furry friends hate you for it! This is the only way to prevent diseases and catch any sort of problems before they get too serious.
- Unless you have a fenced-in yard that’s regularly treated to kill any parasites, your pets shouldn’t have open access to the street.
- Vets do recommend spaying and neutering your animals because it actually helps them live long and happy lives.
- Start brushing their teeth at an early age so that they get used to the process. They make special toothbrushes and pastes for animals that you can get at any pet store.
- Bathing is a necessity when it comes to pets. Cats, of course, are a little more self-sufficient when it comes to staying clean, so they don’t really need to be washed.
- All vets agree that giving your pet “people food” is a terrible idea. Your pet’s digestive system simply can’t handle most of the stuff we humans eat.
- Pets need socialization and human interaction to develop physically, emotionally, and socially. Otherwise they can become easily scared, aggressive, and disobedient.
- So be sure to check if their collar is too tight from time to time. For cats and small breed dogs, you should be able to slip one finger between their collar and skin.

Xanti is adorable and has cinvinced me that my next fur baby will be a Maltese! I love my Cavachon and she will need a companion. She is a tad too big to take on a plane so I am going to get a smaller breed.

Very good video. May I add a couple of comments?
- Never speak to your puppy or adult dog in an angry or accusing voice. Dogs live in the moment; if they've peed on the floor a few minutes ago, they won't remember doing it. A lot of people say you can see guilt on a dog's face when it has done something wrong; when if fact, the dog is reacting to the sound of your voice and does not understand why you're speaking that way. It may traumatize the puppy/dog. As already mentioned in the video, rubbing the dog's nose in the urine will not help the dog to understand. Please remember, this is very important: if the dog displays unacceptable behaviour, the master(s) is always responsible because of a lack of supervision or training.
- To test the heat on very hot days, I suggest testing with the bottom of your foot which is more sensitive instead of testing with your hand because hands become desensitized to heat over time. I don't know about you but I've never washed dishes in hot water with my feet 🤣

All tips is 100% right. Maltese is a special breed need special treating. Most that small doggy never should walk in collar. These doggy should have friends better live in pair too. Yes Hot weather for doggy wit long hairs is most heavy they need water everytime i buy mine girl special bottle for have always water on walk. Also i care for mine girl paws she have sometimes warmer and dry paws. Regards Xanti 🐾🐾

I’ve always used harness on my two maltipoo they’re now six years old.
My maltese was ran over by a vehicle and I still can't get over of losing her right in front of me....vehicle failed to stop even after he saw my puppy crossed the street. I was heartbroken.I miss her so much.....will never get over it.

A quick question: What kinds of fruits and vegetables i can give to a maltesse like i eat them? For example if i have a cumcuber without any salt, can i give it to the puppy?
Hii, most of the fruits and veggies are fine in moderate amounts and without any salt or spices. Just be careful with pits in cherries as these are toxic. Apart from that you can experiment what type of food your doggie likes 🥰🐶 We have a couple videos on food dogs can/cannot eat so make sure to watch them. 👨🎓hope it helps ❤️❤️❤️

You STILL have to wait until it is OLD ENOUGH to leave its MUM and the rest of the litter ( about 8/9 weeks ) whoever you are getting from SHOULD ÑOT be selling any younger , make sure they are ĢENUINE BREEDERS too

@@Shrizztea 25 days is not enough, should be at least 56 days, or else your pup can end up having behavioural problems (barking, biting, nervousness, aggression...) and might have health problems.
