They are born again of the Spirit (1 John 5:1, Titus 3:5), adopted into His family(Eph. 4:5-7), and are granted eternal resurrection life in Jesus Christ (1 John 5:11), set free to do good works that please Him (Eph. 2:10; 1 John 2:3-4). Jesus will physically return one day to judge the living and the dead (1 Peter 4:5; Acts 24:15; John 5:24-5), throwing the wicked out of His Kingdom (Matt. 13:41-3), but His people will be spared from the wrath to come (1 Thess. 1:10) to dwell in union with God forever (Rev. 21:3).

Mr. Hernandez, you have to be honest with yourself and discern what Adventist leadership is saying...they are saying Ellen White's writing are a light just as the inspired Bible word is a light...not for one second should any Christ follower accept any other light but the one given by Jesus and His apostles. Ellen White's writings are full of theological error and heresy.

Hi, I've been going to an SDA church my entire life and I've been looking for proof that I should get out of SDA. I'm honestly really happy I found your channel. You've answered so many of my questions and that I've been white washed.

Living with an Adventists, whom i have been trying to open his eyes on the SDA doctrines and how fallible it is and impossible to defend inacriptures.
For years, we have been at it but yesterday was the day the knock down punch got delivered and for the first time he started to understand what i have been saying.
It went like this, he condemns me for eating pork, and i said it is not written anywhere in the 10 commandments that says "thou shall not eat pork", so i think am good. Said this because he has been charging me to keep the Law. He replied that, that very command is not written in the 10 commandments but still is a valid commandment to be adhered to.
I ask, how many commandments am i suppose to obey, 10 or 11? He then blamed me for not being able ti understand scriptures. Why should I even ask this?
I then replied, does this mean there are other laws to be observed that is not written in the 10 commandments? If so then how am i supposed to keep all these Laws that am bound to forget.
All i know is Jesus Christ is my everything. I am righteousn not because i have obeyed the law but rather because, i believe in Yeshuas death and ressurection for me to have life. Not anything i can do to deserve this, it is by grace that am being saved.
However, if he thinks he can prove his righteousness by obeying the Law, then he should go at it.
He kept quiet for a while and said to not argue qith me again.
The problem with SDA is pride. They have gone too far saying they are the only true christians, and now admitting Ellen White was a false prophet is not an option.They want to save their image.They don't want the feeling of shame for being wrong so they continue to follow what their heart desires.
Adventists who have not yet seen the truth should be forced to defend their faith by questioning them from different angles.Puting them in the position of apologetic would be a good way to broaden their thinkings.

The “lesser light” and “greater light” is word salad nonsense to bring people to their profit.
It baffles me that she claimed to be that lesser light. Not even John the Baptist made that claim. John said he wasn’t that light but he came to bear witness of that light (Christ).

And it get better because the Lesser Light actually defines and tells us what to think about the greater light. You would think or hope that Adventist would turn them around but if you do that you see the lesser light is no light at all but in fact darkness.

I have heard many people say that the writings of Mrs. White are a lesser light compared to the Bible. They usually quote a statement she made that’s in the Review and Herald, January 20, 1903 (also Selected Messages, 3:30). However, in that statement she does not explicitly say the Bible is a greater light and the Testimonies are a lesser light. The first paragraph states that her books are to lead men and women to the Savior. She says that people have neglected the Bible, the mission of which is to point people to Christ, and God has sent a lesser light to lead men and women to the greater light, which should be Christ according to the context of the statement.
Either way-their own source documents state that she is the infallible interpreter of the Bible which makes her greater than scripture because you can’t even understand scripture without her writings. Which is popery.
Answering Adventism. After studying my Bible over the years I found EGW believed exactly what I believed not the other way around . She believed what I believed that Gods plan of salvation saves us from the penalty the power and the presence of sin D.A . 311 states the plan of redemption contemplates our complete recovery from the power of Satan . Christ always separates the CONTRITE soul from sin etc. This is the theme all through her writings. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT?????

Jesus is Michael the Archangel, he’ll not being eternal, how about the golden card ? The right hand of God is the health message ? Show me these things in scripture….. patiently waiting.
For the record, I worked an Amazing Discoveries seminar, a small group of us had lunch with him and we talked over the three day meetings. I’m since out! Had to push them to drop my name of their rolls…

I’d love to know what was discussed. I recently came out of adventism. Sadly, I still have friends that won’t budge. They also listen to Walter Veith every week.
What Bible issues did you see?
This varied by community. Where I last lived as an SDA was EGW's final home. And the idea that a prophet is not accepted in her home town was well demonstrated there. Those who gave extreme reverence to EGW were considered kooks, while her plagiarism was openly discussed on the college campus.
So if Ellen was made fun of why did they still remain members?
@@stephencoe2231 That was leading up to a great upheaval in the SDA church, and a great many of us did not remain members. I was right there in the epicenter as it all unfolded.
As to infallibility, Mrs. White plainly writes, "I never claimed it; God alone is infallible." Again she stated that "God and heaven alone are infallible" (Selected Messages, book 1, p. 37).
No she didn’t.
“Although I am as dependent upon the Spirit of the Lord in writing my views as I am in receiving them, yet the words I employ in describing what I have seen are my own, unless they be those spoken to me by an angel, which I always enclose in marks of quotation.-The Review and Herald, October 8, 1867. 1SM 37.1
The question is asked, How does Sister White know in regard to the matters of which she speaks so decidedly, as if she had authority to say these things? I speak thus because they flash upon my mind when in perplexity like lightning out of a dark cloud in the fury of a storm. Some scenes presented before me years ago have not been retained in my memory, but when the instruction then given is needed, sometimes even when I am standing before the people, the remembrance comes sharp and clear, like a flash of lightning, bringing to mind distinctly that particular instruction. At such times I cannot refrain from saying the things that flash into my mind, not because I have had a new vision, but because that which was presented to me perhaps years in the past has been recalled to my mind forcibly.-The Writing and Sending Out of the Testimonies, 24. 1SM 37.2”
Nothing on that page says what you claimed. Doesn’t even use the word infallibility. Why are you just making stuff up?

Myles thanks for your great job! We need a deep study of what Melchizedek Order is, not as a person but as the king-priesthood Order. This order was started with Enos (no Enock) 4th Son of Adam. There are exactly 8 herald priest starting with Enos (Enosh) all the way down to Noah who is the 8th God's messengers, all this is found in the first chapters of Genesis . In the ancient patriarchs a Priest and King is equivalent to say today " Judge and attorney at the same time" Many do not understand what priest and king is. Noah's son was the king-priest who endorsed and blessed Abraham. There is an astronomical Theology in Melchizedek Order that we must study to dismantle the SDA cult.

After her vision on Nov 18, 1848, Ellen White writes (SLG 25.9): “The time of trouble has begun.”
In the summer of 1849, a cholera epidemic struck American cities leaving hundreds of people dead. Ellen White then writes (PT September 1, 1849, Par. 9): “What we have seen and heard of the pestilence, is but the beginning of what we shall see and hear. Soon the dead and dying will be all around us.”
Soon after this prophecy was penned by Ellen White, the epidemic ended, and the United States entered a period of relative peace and prosperity that lasted for many years.
If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed. (Deuteronomy 18:22).

I am glad you made this video. First of all, I do want to clarify that the adventists are good people that do help people out. I used to attend the SDA church. I personally agree on the Sabbath Day being Friday evening to Saturday evening. I agree on the dietry laws too, but I believe clean meat is okay to eat. II am a Messianic. I have nothing against the people. However, they do read EGW books much more than they read the bible. They only read EGW books during Wednsday night prayer meeting/study. We are not required to bring are bible along. When they are done with one EGW book, they go to another EGW book. Sabbath school is on EGW or Mark Finley, or Doug Batchelor (who both go off of EGW). One time the new year was coming, and they wanted me to have a one year plan on how to read, and finish Ellen G White's writings in one year. I said to them that I am only interested in a one year plan to read the bible. As far as end times prophecy goes, they are way off. First of all, they are siding Palistine because they don't believe Israel ever became a nation again, because Ellen White said they will never be a nation again. They believe the historic event of Israel being restored as a nation again back in 1948 is fake news. The bible clearly states the restoration of Israel. They don't believe the oandemic has anything to do with prophecy. Probably because Ellen White never mentioned it. Something as big as "The Mark Of The Beast" is something very deep, and irreversable. My belief is it is a physical mark since the person "receives" it. I just can't believe they think the "MOTB," the "Big Cheese itself is going to church on Sunday instead of Saturday. With all of the "bible" prophecy going on right now, how can they still believe this stuff? They believe all these wars and economic problems are leading to a Sunday Law. It just doesn't make any sense to me. How absurd!

Marcey. I never quoted texts because I thought people knew their Bibles. Re people fighting read Matt 24:48-51. Also the necessity of keeping the commands today is in Rev 22:11-14 to enter heaven . Jesus is NOT coming to save anyone. HE has already done so at the Cross. He is coming to give everyone good or bad their reward. We are not judged by other la2s apart from the moral law the 10 commands . It is the standard that God judges our characters by Eccles 12:12-14. No sinners like us can keep this holy law naturally. It takes Supernatural power of Gods grace and the applied and appropriated righteousness of Christ. We are not saved BY our obedience, Jesus saves us FROM disobedience

The issue to me is that Ellen White says the Lord showed me, told me, etc but actually she copied the writings from other people. That doesn't make her a prophet but a "copier", or should I say a plagiarist?

In my years as SDA I haven't heard what you people are saying that Ellen White writings are above the bible contrary Ellen White is only quoted for clearly interpretation of the scriptures for instance Ellen White opposed the Sabbath when it was introduced by Elder Bates but through a vision she says the Lord rebuked her by trying to suppress the message from the Lord
2 Ellen White was elementary school dropout and it was the EG White Estate given the mandate to proof read her messages that added other sources which they found were the same as the visions presented
3 I found it strange trying to put words implied when she said her writings are lesser light leading to greater light the bible and that her writings only came because people have refused to study the scriptures, studying the bible is not the same as studying subject in a class or reading a novel but it is studying it prayerfully being guided by Holy spirit.Most theological schools draw people away from believe in God infact if you enter their very holy you come out unholy unlike the school of the prophets longtime ago where every student could prophecy even if you aren't a prophet a case study is when king Saul prophecied when he came in contact with them
@jameschee4897 I have read the book and was blessed by it at the time. However, I don't see EW as the prophet for the last days as I used to. A lot of other people have written beautiful and inspiring words about Jesus. She isn't the only one. And who knows if she was the sole author of that book anyway.
Out of all the books she wrote, only 2 percent were words borrowed from other sources.

I would like for you to do a reaction video to Doug Batchelor short video on Tithes. In my humble opinion Tithe is an old testament ordinance that no longer applies to new testament Christians. Free will Offerings is okay and is not based on the percentage of one's income. Thus the word Tithe no longer belongs in a new testament church. And any new testament church that requires tithes is no better than the judaizers of the old testament who wanted all new Christians to be circumcised. One final thought is this, Ellen G White wrote that if you didn't pay your Tithe you would not be saved, which has nothing to do with the gospel.

If people are teaching for doctrines the commandments of men -- not Gods law, they surely are indoctrinated 2Thess 2:2-14 says if people have pleasure in unrighteousness(disobedience) God will send them strong delusions that they will believe a lie. 1John 2: 3-5 says if people claim.ti know Jesus and don't keep His commandments they are liars and the truth is not in them . Rev 3:21 say He that overcomes as I (Jesus) overcomes will enter heaven . No one who has meekly capitulated to the wiles of the devil will be in heaven. This includes myself or anyone else.

My uncle claims that Adventists are smarter and stronger than everyone else because they eat the same diet that Daniel ate.
Except, Daniel 1-2 says he was FASTING from meat and wine. Which means-he regularly partook of such in order to do a fast. Daniel 10 explains it was three weeks long.
But Ellen claimed he was a vegetarian so, yet again, her interpretation and application of the text stands.

( Gal 5:22-25) are not evident in our lives, we could be prevented from entering. According to Rev 22:11-14 all in heaven have been happy(blessed) to obey all Gods commands. It demonstrates our love for Jesus. John 15,14. Jesus came to save us FROM our sins( Matt 1,21) not continue in rebellion against God. Adventists don't judge. EGW and the church say there Re Gods people in all denominations. Adventists do not judge, they warn people of the coming of Jesus and the destruction of this world and be prepared to meet Jesus. Read 1John 3:2-10.. Thebody of Christ must be like Him Who obeyed His Father as we can and should. A warning is not a judgment. When people use expletives on EGW that is judging.

I didn’t say 1 Timothy supports dictation, though. I said it doesn’t support “thought inspiration” which is what the SDA Church affirms nor does dictation make man an automaton. This is a common claim they make that isn’t true. Which was my point.
They claim that the prophets thoughts were inspired and they then used their own words to try and best convey what God was saying to them. I’ve yet to see any scholarship around “theopnustos” that supports that idea, but happy to see if it’s out there.

She does change the calendar of God. Just like the pope did away with the Jewish calendar and Sabbath, Ellen White uses a Samaritan Sunrise to sunrise calendar to calculate her "prophesied" SDA church Day of Atonement date.
They also had their own Sabbath for 10 years, which they kept according to their time and not God's.

It is amazing the wrong conclusions drawn by this presenter. Adventists do not have everything perfect but this guy is just spinning everything out of context and out of their correct emphasis. We, Seventh-Day Adventist, do no place Ellen G. White's writings on the level of scripture, period. Though you may find some sects within the church that do misuse her writings as though she is the Holy Spirit, that is not the Adventist position. It is a challenge that we do face, but the challenge is not the position of the church. We can make a similar case for any group within any denomination that hold different beliefs and practices from the main organization.

I was an Adventist school teacher and a pastor. God opened my eyes wide when I studied in debt the doctrine of the cleansing of the sanctuary and investigative judgment, besides seriously reading E.G. White's books and letters. I can say right here without fear that she was a false prophet! EGW contradicted the Bible and herself numerous times. She lied that what she wrote was given to her by God or an angel but books that were published during her time or early show that she plagiarized a lot! In fact even some of the things she claimed were revealed or told to her by an angel have been proven to have been plagiarized!! I have 161 books and letters that she write and got published in her life time and posthumously. I have read and re-read them, and I can attest here that she was a false prophetess! Besides, I recommend that you read books that were written by former Adventists who have done some great research on her writings and doctrinal understanding. Here are some of them: The White Lie by Dr. Walter T. Rae, Cultic Doctrine of Seventh-day Adventists by Dale Ratzlaff and The Fake Controversy by Dirk Anderson. These books and others were written by ardent supporters of EGW who stumbled on the books and sources that EGW plagiarized! EGW was a prolific plagiarist who copied even what she claimed God or an angel revealed to her! Make sure you also read Dr. Desmond Ford's Daniel 8:14 and Investigative Judgment. Ford is hated so much in the Adventist church for exposing deceptions of EGW. The writings of EGW a.k.a. "spirit of prophecy" are masterpieces of deception and spurious messages!
3 major places in the Bible on how to test a prophet are, Duet 18, Duet 13, and 1 John. In all 3 places White fails these test. She has failed prophecies, claims Jesus isn't God, and preaches a different gospel.

Whether born in your household or bought with your money, they must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh is to be an everlasting covenant. Yet the New Testament teaches that Christians do not need to be circumcised. Galatians 5:2 says, "Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you."

I agree with her that we need an infallible body that can be seen and help us translate the Bible except I would say that what we have and need is a Magisterium. A body of men who are led by the Holy Spirit. The Catholic Church has just the thing that mankind needs. I challenge anyone to pick up a C.C.C. (Caticisim of the Catholic church) read it alongside the Bible and tell me if you can find anything within its pages that contradicts the Bible. I was raised SDA and I was shocked when I started studying the Catholic church. I got a copy of the CCC and to date, I have not found anything that is considered dogma that goes against the Word of God.

@@neshab.4129 No because we are not following the Jewish sabbath anymore. We are under a new covenant that Jesus gave us. So now we consider every day Holy because every day is the Lord's day. Now we can choose to meet on any day of the week. Paul said in Romans 14:5 One man considers one day to be Holy and another considers every day to be Holy just make sure you are persuaded in yourself. I have an entire article that explains this fully going from the Old Testament to the New but yes we are now spiritual Jews under a new command. @@neshab.4129 The Bible is the Infallable word of God but it can not interpret itself. If I tell you to put the kitty on the table, what is the first thought that comes to mind? If you said I want you to put a literal feline cat on the table that is one way to see it, but if we are talking about poker it has a completely different meaning. So when we find examples of that in the Bible, who do we turn to for help. Since the Catholic church is the only church to have existed since the time of Jesus Christ and they can prove it, I tend to trust them. They also are doing exactly what Jesus Christ commanded His church to do, so that I why I am a Catholic.

The Bible is not easy to understand in some scriptures, especially the writings of Paul. This is evident in the fact that they're so many religious denominations, who profess to serve the same God. If Ellen White's writings are based on her visions, obviously they would not be in the Bible, however, it should not contradict scriptures. Why spend so much time on Ellen White, when most of the world believe that the Pope is Jesus's representative on earth and follow him blindly, when his teachings clearly contradict the Bible? Do not get hung up on Ellen White, she cannot save you and religion does not save you! Why do you believe that the Pope is infallible and the whole world follows him?

I did not meant to imply that you consider the Pope to be infallible, that should have been a general question. My concern is that so many people are distracted with what SDA's believe and what Ellen White wrote, while no one is concerned about the papacy and their role in end time prophecy. Many people also believe that it's world governments who will bring in the mark of the beast, but the Bible clearly tells us that it's the devil who will use the apostate church to wage war against God's people (Revelation 12 and 17). Let us focus on who the enemy really is and encourage each other to endure to the end (Matthew 24:13-14).
