Yeah same xD I got Anos wrong because I thought they would include his mental age, not body age xD and there's also the fact from what point of the series is this from, and as I have watched only 3 episodes and dropped it, he could have been over 4 years old, since there is season 2 and long ass light novel... xD and I wasn't sure if he just aged himself or there was a timeskip in the first ep. Raphtalia is a trick question cause her age is never confirmed. We just know that the age we saw her at at the start of the series was the age shes been at for quite some time because they age by lvl, so 10 isnt even how long shes been alive, she could be 15 or 20. Shes anywhere from 10-40 in s1
In shield hero demi humans age by level or by time it's just that if they level up fast as children then they age accordingly
umm... Age is not the same as level of developments. The Demi human situation is essentially the reverse of 10000 year old Loli's. She is more developed, but her age is still like 10-12 because age is a measure of time existed not development.

A severely autistic cripple is still a severely autistic cripple long no matter if their 10 years old or 30. Their body doesn't really develop. And brain develop is extremely varied from person to person
But your comment along with with the other comment prove my point, that there isn't a clear explanation of how demi-humans age. You wouldn't call your 12 year old dog young, but you wouldn't call your 12 year old son young. Every species ages differently, and we are given the explanation that demi-humans age via lvl and experience
@sogekingsimp2469 No, we get a very clear showing when they all got their level reset. Saddena didn't turn into a child like Rapthalia. Because their level does not make their age change. Leave a demi human alone at level one, and they mature just like any normal creature or human. What we do get told is that leveling has an effect on their bodies' development. That's it. Higher level = A more developed body up to a set point. Like Raphtalia does not grow into an old woman as she gains more levels now.

Edit: to be specific, she was 17 at the start of the web novel as compared to 14 at the start of the light novel.
