So much great information - I'm really enjoying your narration - so fascinating! I'm learning so much - thanks! And your videos are always expertly edited
Thanks! I was using the Mini 3 until the spring and a lot of the footage had like a blue hue to it - got lucky and found a Mavic 3 Classic used and honestly it’s been fantastic - especially the colours (if the sun agrees). I had one video I shot in D-log and tried colour enhancing (the Soo Sunset video), and one video the water looked a bit green so I tweaked it to look a touch more blue (I forget what video that was - long time ago)…but other than that none of the footage is colour corrected/edited. For drone camera settings, I’ll take-off in auto mode, and then lock those auto settings in manual (just so it isn’t changing mid-scene), and I do like all my footage just like that. I know I sound like a shill, but DJI have tweaked the camera to be just that good
@@NorthernElevations Your efforts have really paid off. I used to use ND filters on my Mini 2 without issue but I suspect a DJI update has eliminated that option; I get a gimbal issue warning every time I attach it now. Without the filters, I find the colours washed out. Maybe I'll have to try some manual settings like you do. Thanks for the help. ~ Daryl
@ I haven’t yet been able to make perfect sense of the photography side of things so take the following with a grain of salt, but TLDR I can sorta cheat in auto mode on the Mavic 3 while the Mini series doesn’t have hardware required The Mavic 3 Classic I have has a variable aperture in its camera which lets it get away without using ND filters. Unfortunately the Mini series don’t have variable apertures which means without ND filters they can get extremely blown out unless you get weird with your shutter speed which can cause odd looking (or nonexistent) motion blur
Watched with great interest. The shots, information the whole package is perfect!
Thank you! There’s a ton of great resources and it’s awesome seeing how many folks love these ships ☺️
Beautiful ❤
She sure is a good looking ship! 🥰

Means a lot 🥰 I’ve put some time into learning how to edit better so I’m very glad that’s paying off!
Another excellent video. The colours from your drone camera are really vivid. Loved the history and information. Keep up the great work. 👍
