Cure wasnt the only band to use this kind of sound, lol... many coldwave/darkwave/batcave/ethereal/goth bands have this sound too, and Cure did not invent it...
I was just referring to the re arrangement of this song in particular. Dead can dance was always very distinct from all those "new wave/goth " bands ...well, I could hear Joy Division influences in some of their early material but that was it.
