5:46 WHY IS NO REVIEWER TALKING ABOUT HOW FRUSTRATING MOVING APPS IN IOS 18 IS. Sometimes I can move the icon to a large blank space and it works fine but other times, it shuffles the icons to fill the blank spaces randomly. Like if a page is almost filled with icons and I move a middle icon to the bottom right blank space it fills the blank space from where I took the icon. The whole point was that I could have blank spaces in between.
I see a lot of comments saying that limiting charging at 80% is dumb. At first, I couldn’t agree more. However, I realize that when I’m working in the office or at home, my phone is on the MagSafe charger most of the time. I never have any concerns of running out of battery. So I actually limit my battery charging to 80% now. The only time I will change it to 100% is when I’m traveling and I need to navigate a lot or take a tons of photos and videos.
dopamine coolage effect - uve gotten hooked on a near-unconscious "pleasure seeking" trail of probably watching vids for no reason that's hypnotic - u get to the end of the trance and wonder why
Damn all the people COMPLAINING about her mentioning to set your battery to 80% are crazy, its fine if you don't care and love to spent more money when you don't have to, but it's nothing to brag about, its a useful feature on any phone that has it and I'm glad she mentioned it so more people know about it. Personally my Phone is always limited to 85% and I never have problems with it. There were a few days this year when I was doing a daytrip, being away completely and too lazy to charge over my powerbank, so for those days I just set it to 100% and easily survived those days on my 4 year old phone. No reason to get mad over the feature tho omg
I've been waiting for this video on the iPhone 16! It's really exciting to see all the new features and improvements. I love how you explain everything so clearly💜📱
Hi Ella, I see your iPhone 16 Pro Max is just the same as my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I mean the Magsafe charging; there’s no “Ring Mafsafe Animation." My concern is, does the iPhone 16 series have those animations or no longer have Magsafe animation?
Idk why everyone’s upset about her mentioning the 80% capacity. However from my experience, I have an iPhone 11 that I’ve had for 5 years that I charge to 100% most days. My maximum capacity has dropped to 74%, but it will get me through the day.
So what you are saying in the first part is that you charge to 80% so that the battery doesn't decline and you use only 80% of it. And your friend uses 100% of it and two years later he still uses 82%, ie 2% more than you. Hmmmm
not really. if you have a pro max it has more than enough battery to last you the whole day. also there are other options between 100 and 80 percent. the difference in battery health would also be more like 97% to 84% after two years, which can also increase resale value.
@@maybemymoney5764it won’t do anything to the value, I traded in my 14 pro and battery capacity was at 82 percent and I still got the highest amount of money for it.
My iPhone 13 is most of the time on my wireless charger 24 hrs everyday except when I go out maybe 2-3 times a week, and the battery health is still at 91%
I have a iphone 11 original battery I charged it every day to 100 since I bought it new since 2019 the battery is at 76 health never had a problem . Don’t worry about the battery one charge lasts u all day long unless ur straight up on ur phone all day long playing games or watching movies but at that point you should probably get a job or some kind of real life activity hiking or hobby
As a Samsung user, I always pride Android/Samsung for the customization but...wow - iOS is catching up and has a lot of cool features that Samsung doesn't!
For me ive got the 15 pro max and its completely fine i doubt i be changing phone anytime soon 😅 i went from an fold 4 too the 15 too try out my first apple device i dont like it too much compared too the freedom . I used too get in androids custom features 😊 but im slowly getting used too it . Had mine for aboiut 6 months now and i only charge too 80% and charge it once every 2 too 3 days as i dont use it as much as i used too use my samsung phone :)
Cool tips that I might not get into right away, but I would like see the camera function button to function as a scroll wheel sometime in the near future, if you know what I mean? Other than that interested in your future Apple Intelligence tips when using Apple Intelligence. As usual cool video, very entertaining, interesting, and informative! 😺🥰💫💎💃
I dont see a big difference between 15 and 16 , its just fooling people by the over hype which is actually not really worth it .... all those updates are even available in ios 18 on 15 too , its just a camera and some bazel differences that's all ...
I always charge up to 100% anyway my phone charge up the last 20% before I woke up and I use like this since they have the optimized battery charging. My 2 year old phones are always around 85-90%
The only thing that I like about the new iOS is the notifications and its attention. Everything else is basically android revamp. If you've been using android haven't seen more than 2 of the features over the years already then switch to Galaxy
Hey Ella, I really like your videos and since I found you I like following your content ! I have a question, did you test or maybe you know already, if the haptic feedback of the keyboard does have any effect on the battery life? I have it turned off because I think that the Taptic Engine could possibly drain the battery more with every keystroke. Looking forward to your feedback! Greets from Germany :)!
At least 16 pro max is usable phone in 2024, My iPhone 7+ is 9 years old and it’s very laggy. I mean it heats a lot, really frustrating as a student. Battery drain is really fast, it charges whole day.
@@Shortandnerdyyit’s a great idea but in my Area there are only 2-3 mobile stores that deal with Apple and they don’t have the old and used ones. Only new 15s and 16s are available.

Your a beautiful woman and I love to listen to you, but you talk too fast, and your not giving enough information, you skip from on point to the next to fast.
So basically you limit the charge on your iphone to 80 % essentially making it behave like a 2 years old degraded to 80% battery with the only difference you do it from day 1 ... makes 0 sense to me. Why would i use the phone with less screen on time since day 1 making it like 2-3 years old phone when most ppl will change it at around 3 years mark if not every 2 years or even 1 year cycles for some. If you are a person who change it every 5 years just to argue or u are really from the 5 ppl on the planet that do so then u pay 100 dollars for a battery 1 time in those 5 years and u dont limit ur charge and always use max screen on time. I really dont get this charge limiting to prolong battery life, u just " degrades ur battery to 2-3 years old battery from the 1st day" like what the actual fok is this bs. This would make sense if u have a product from the past that is last of its kind and there are no batteries anywhere in the world for it and u plan to keep a product working for as much as u possibly can as u enjoy it as something vintage and rare. Not for a phone that u change every 3 years if even so long for most ppl and u can put a brand new battery for as much as 2 glass of whisky if u plan to go longer. Anyway Ella is top notch as always and always positive and nice to watch! :)

Setting the battery charge percent is stupid. After 2 years you might have 5% extra battery health, but you’ve spent 2 years with an 80% battery.
