Mah-Oli it was a band in hawaii but idk wat happened to the rest of the group. So the main guy kept the name. So if u research Kanaka-Maoli it is more of saying human being. As for Josh Totofi, he comes from another hawaiian band named Kapena these braddahs is wonderful aloha and mahalo on looking into Polynesian vocals. Josh is tongan, Maoli is mixxed hawaiian

Most of the band members of Maoli is from Maui Josh is also from Maui before moving to Oahu
