@H K While I don't totally hate volume 5, I still think it was weaker that volumes 4 and 6. I think the Raven Vs Cinder fight was definitely strong in terms of choreography and animation, but none of the main cast did anything in it (especially Ruby and Jaune, who hold the greatest grudge against Cinder for killing Pyrrha.) Some people dislike it, but I'm glad that they kept Cinder alive for now, so that they can have more interesting confrontations later between her and the main cast. I'm a huge fan of the more emotional fights in RWBY, like the Bees VS Adam fight or the final fight of volume 4.
@H K I mean they kinda just swung their swords and used flashy maiden magic, not like they show any technique or skill. Maybe at the end but that's it.
@@solarisengineering15 I feel like the fight would have been better if the Animators had more time. And if the Characters were separated into multiple individual fights rather than having them all in the same place.
@@vincegalila7211 I agree. I heard that there was some major issues production issues with RWBY volume 5 as well, which it seems has really been improved in the most recent volumes. Information is spotty as to what happened with volume 5, but whatever issue there was with it has clearly been improved.
I mean, hey, at least we got Raven vs. Cinder. The battle for Haven as a whole fucking sucked, though, I'll agree. I'm really glad the show seems to actually be improving now.
