My Nan Your Nan 🎶 - I listened to it about 25 times 😅 Notice how it looks like Greg is holding a ukelele?

Never understand why comedians have a warm-up act? People pay their money to see Greg so he’s the one who should be out there. And in this self-titled DVD & UA-cam video, why didn’t they interview his Mum more?

Because the current comedy industry is overall very supportive of one another and welcoming to new acts? It's not like you're getting any less of the person you've paid to see and I've discovered loads of fantastic comedians who've been warm up acts. Chloe Petts and Fatiah El-Ghorri just to name two. Also touring around the country doing upwards of 80 shows could be incredibly draining and lonely if you were on your own. You only have to listen to Greg talk about Ed for a bit to tell they had shit loads of fun together and how much Greg loves him. Ed's definitely something of a pseudo son to him 😂

What a strange comment 🤔 it’s very normal to have a warm-up act on a comedy tour, just as you would expect one before seeing any music artist.
The reason they’re there is in the name - to warm up the audience so that instead of having just walked in when the main act comes on, they are already relaxed/comfortable and ready to have a good time.
It’s also a brilliant way for newer comedians to get in front of an audience and for the audience to discover some people they may not have seen before.
As the original poster said, you’re not getting any less of the main act, why would you complain about getting more for your money?
