Best bet with that was to use something else, then use the paper to clean the finger. But was better than the stuff that came with actual wood fibres in the paper. Q stores was also a firm believer in one roll a month per person as being adequate. Thankfully the Officers mess toilets were often unoccupied from midnight, and they always had a dozen or so rolls as spare per stall, so you could always do some midnight shopping. Just had to wait for the lights to burn out, and the moon to be out. We took the TP, they came round because we had showers that worked, though one evening the one guy asked if they had fixed the hot water, as it had been out for a month. I had not noticed, seeing as the cold water was hot enough, especially at an ambient of 40C plus. Cold showers only, want cool water open the hot tap.

I'm not into modern folders anymore, but I gave a SOG flash 2 to my cousin and it's a decent knife. They've got a nice thin grind, decent easy sharpen steel, and decent ergonomics.

I just looked through the first 5 pages of pens only and found 3 of the regular American flag and 2 of the Betsy Ross style 30-06 cartridge pens, so they are there, just have to be found. There are also 7mm cartridge pens and "bolt action" pens I saw, all made from bullet casings. Also, the all-wood stuff is nice too. I am partial to the purple-wood stuff myself. FTR - I am not affiliated with penwerkz in any way. But I did have to make sure a new groom I know got one of those 30-06 pens!!!

I used to operate a machine to produce " cardboard corners" or "corner board" and a skid of them stacked horizontal would stop a heavy hit I reckon.
