I have a soft spot for Chuwi because I've owned one of their earlier laptops and a couple of Larkbox mini pcs before. The Larkboxes were ordered from the Chuwi website but shipped from the Netherlands, so they arrived quickly. Crucially, when one of them died, I only had to send it back to a warehouse in the UK and got a quick refund, which is good service. It's great that the USB C can deliver video and receive power - would work well with a hub monitor
Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ve also used their LarkBox mini in the past and it was pretty good. This MiniBook is so handy, I prefer it for watching Netflix and UA-cam. Especially with that long battery life.
It looks great but I have one main concern. Other reviews mention a low battery life (around 4 hours, without full brightness) while you say you get 8 hours... In what conditions did you reach twice more ?
@@Josh-Tech-Reviews I have an old laptop (2014, i7, 8gb ram) and windows was felling slow on it so I installed Linux (distro hoped a few times and now I settled on openSusa) and works fine for web surfing and older games. It's not en experience devoid of small issues but nothing I can't overlook. Funny thing, all the time I had win installed on it the Bluetooth module never worked, I thought I did not have it and when I installed Linux, it worked right away.
I've had this for a few months (in pink) and it's been great. The rubber feet on the bottom are starting to kinda fall off, but other than that it has been zero problems.
Depends on the user needs, I would recommend it for general office applications, web browsing and media consumption. For the right person this is a very nice convertible laptop.
I get emails constantly from Chuwi with the price listed at $288 USD plus discount codes. As I write this it's available from their website for $280.45 USD.

@@Josh-Tech-Reviews Don't remember the model. Bought it for peanuts and my mother still has it.
Thanks for the review ! is the ssd is swappable ?
Yes you can replace the SSD.
I don't think so, but nowadays you can find people to do anything!

Yo bro you made my screen come back to life I’m so grateful :)
Your welcome and thanks for the support.
@@ChigzTech it’s all right if it hadn’t been for u I wouldn’t be texting u rn loll 🙂↔️😖
Big up bro. Had to grab this! Thanks
Great review mate thanks 👍
Thanks for watching
Nice comment!
Unless it's a UK spec exclusive, it's 1 x full featured usb c port, the other is just for charging & data

it's amazing!! Has it glass screen?
Nice mini laptop.. if it was N300 I would definitely consider.
Yes true, or an AMD NPU would also be quite good.
What is the compatibility with Linux?
Yes uou can install Linux.
@@ChigzTech have you tried it? Do all components (touch screen, wifi, mouse pad..) work under Linux?
What's got u using Linux? Isn't it rough to use?

I found a relevant article which shows the Linux compatibility in more detail: github.com/sonnyp/linux-minibook-x
How can I buy a touch pen fitting to the laptop?

Thanks for testing emulation can this laptop run OG XBOX 🤔
awesome wonder what fps you can get on valorant
Great vid men... but.. u make me spend money today 😅
I only need a compact laptop for my astrology program. I wonder if it has good enough spec to run it haha.
It's a beautiful little laptop, but is it really worth while?

Nice wee machine but has no zip. n100 is weak and can't handle even very basic games.
Yes I agree, not for gaming.
That's just not true. It can handle older or basic games beautifully.
If you got 4 hours battery life out of this, it would be a miracle.
The battery on it is bad?????
Price increase to almost 400 not worth it anymore
what is something similar that is worth it? also I see it on amazon for $350 Canadian

My friend, you should try Chuwi's Freebook. They are both 2-in-1 laptops, but the Freebook has a bigger screen and a faster processor.
? The Freebook also uses an N100.
@@BGeldz Sí, n100. Memoria 16+512 GB.
2 in 1 always need to avoid
If they use amd I would give them another try
Yes this with an AMD Ryzen NPU would be epic.
😁😁😁👍👍👍......
