You forgot a bit more info. 1. African cheetahs have elliptical eyes and lack the white patch around the eyes. Asian cheetahs have elongated eyes and have a prominent white patch around the eyes. 2. African cheetahs live in savannas and Asian cheetahs in more hilly and mountainous terrain. 3. African cheetahs are taller and faster than Asian cheetahs. 4. African cheetahs that live in the savanna have enemies and competitors. Due to the habitat they live in, Asian cheetahs are apex in their home range and do not have enemies and competitors.
I also found that while doing research. But i found this "The African cheetah is the only one that has been recorded running at its full sprint. Asiatic cheetahs are believed to have the same speeds as African Cheetahs. However, no data is available to back this claim. The reason for the assertion is that the mountainous terrain that the Asiatic cheetahs have to contend with, does not provide enough space for them to go all out, a luxury only accorded to the African cheetahs in their flat savannah terrains."
Because the asiatic cheetah and african cheetah are different, the asiatic cheetah is now a separate species, as the scientific name of the asiatic cheetah is now Acinonyx venaticus.
