Not really. It might mean he's a little unpopular, but in terms of actually governing it doesn't affect that at all. He has the majority of seats, that's what actually matters when it comes to passing laws or legislation.

@@Debbie-henri I think there is a way to get out industry and utilities back without paying a fortune… do like American, put hefty tariffs on so there would be no benefit for any privet company tho hive of any profits. Where there is a will there is a way.. we need all British citizens to benefit from well run and organise companies and not shareholders. Until the UK rejoin Europe we have to find wealth from somewhere. The money bucket is low and has big holes that need fixing NOW if any UK government has any chance of helping the economy.

So, clearly, he's set his sights on undoing some of the things that others have spent fighting for - that'll be a nice bit of timewasting going on for months, while there are plenty of much bigger, much more important isdues being fa ed by British people that need to be addressed at once - homelessness, drug problems sweeping through our disillusioned youth, the massive increase in assaults on women since the arrival of all these wretched men in boats, the fact these boats need turning back right now, the still escalating cost of food (and pretty much everything else), and why not throw in at least some concern for climate change too (or is his plan for that as vague as that of the Green Party's?)

Actions speak louder than words. Rather than talking about cooperation with the Welsh government, which is commited to leaving the union, the government would do better to sort out its industrial policy, making sure that government construction projects use UK made steel. Ideally made from iron using the new green hydrogen reduction process. The uk government should also ensure that high tech companies in all parts of the union remain under UK control, not sold to foreign investors, such as the chinese or Indian.
And what evidence do you have to say they want to leave the union

The UK government is the overarching government of England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. England is governed solely by the UK government, whilst the other nations have some authority devolved to their national government, with other authorities maintained by the UK government; such as foreign policy.
