Great job on the video. One of the most important aspects that you neglected to mention. On a Dex you hold your own keys. On a cex this is not the case. Not your keys not your coins. This is why Crypto was invented. Dex=no middle man. You’re in control! Not centralized the exchanges.

Isn't that the purpose of having a crypto wallet? You shouldn't be keeping your coins on an exchange, you should move them into a wallet after you buy the coins. Besides, what's the point of using a DEX if you need a CEX to convert fiat currency to crypto?

How does a layer-3 DEX like Hydranet’s work? It claims to allow cross-chain swaps on layer 3.
Hydranet combines Connext and Lightning Network. That's how it allows faster and cheaper transactions on layer 3.
Why interested in technical stuff? Buy its token, HDX and stake it, a smart way of investment.
Hydranet's DEX is on Beta. For now, buying its token, HDX might be a good idea, it's got potential.

Dex are not faster than cex. Plenty of dex will trade instantly. Also, ETH has high gas fees which means it’s not cheaper to trade.

You say that a Liquidity Pool solves the problem of waiting around for a transaction to be made at the price you wish by completing the transaction immediately at the market price in the pool. But how is this any better than a regular exchange where you can buy the token immediately at the market price?
They both sound the same.
4:45 Ok, I want to do something similar, but instead of coin for coin, I want to offer/schedule community resources in exchange for coin. Say the sellers all have a common services, and they come together to work as a team to offer that service working together, based on the order book. Lets say we wanted to offer house building services(just an example). The order book takes bids from the buyers, and whoever offers the highest price, the community will come together and build their house first. Now, say the community can work on more than one house at once (but they can't do too many). So say the next highest bidder in the orderbook will have their house built too, but maybe slightly slower. Do you know of any projects like this so that you can get me pointed in the right direction? Thanks a million!

In traditional trading there is a person called the market maker who will take your order and do your trade and they will then find a seller for your trade and purchase you get your money and you don't have to wait they take the risk your get your money instantly and there is no waiting around the market makers do the waiting around.

Could you guys do a review of CERTICOS (CERITCOSIGN)? The white paper is saying that it is like DocuSign/Panda Doc but uses the CERTICOS token to transfer and store documents on a blockchain...pretty interesting?

You can trade as much as you want without having to pay taxes using a decentralized exchange. There is no reporting of anything. No one knows who you are, etc. But you can’t get out of crypto on a decentralized exchange. Not that I’m aware of anyway so you would have to use a centralized exchange for that and would pay the tax one time on your crypto. But the good news is you can make 20 different trades and not pay any taxes at all on any of them. This is why governments hate them. But since taxation is illegal, they can piss off….

They can’t. That’s the whole point of them
3:55 is wrong. You do not need a hot wallet. I use my hardware wallet all the time with DEX. Basically Metamask and a few other things have the ability to link your hardware wallet. It will require your hardware wallet to approve transactions.
